1.

Greetings:

Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls. What day is it today? How are you feeling today?

Listen to the song ‘Head, shoulder, knees and toes’

and do the actions. Step 2: Presentation 1.

Point to all the body parts and ask what they are. Then show the title of Unit 10: Body. (Read it for several times.) 2.

Show the pictures of body one by one and teach and drill them. Here pay attention to the pronunciations of ‘mouth’

and ‘teeth’. And distinguish the singular and plural forms of ‘toes’

‘feet’ ‘ears’ ‘arms’.

A game: T gives SS different instructions like ‘nose’

…. and SS point to the parts as quickly as possible. Then practice in pairs. 4.

A game: T shows the word cards and SS say the numbers of the pictures on Bb. Then ask S to answer.

Colour the frames of pictures.

Do the body language to show the verbs: ‘shake, touch, open, show’

and drill them. Then the phrases ‘touch your…’

Step 3: practice 1.

Listen to the song and point to the pictures. 2.

Listen again and sing after the tape. 3.

Sing the song and do the actions.
