学情分析：本单元主要学习著名人物的认识，学会使用简单语句，从年代、国籍、性格特点、职业、主要事迹等方面对著名人物进行描述。伟大人物介绍学生还是第一次接触，但是描述他人的词语却陆陆续续在三四五年级都有接触，所以难点在人物的丰功伟绩的描述。本课将通过图片资料激发学生学习兴趣，引导学生正确描述人物的生平。

Objectives教学目标：

1．Language knowledge语言知识：

1) 能理解、听、说、读以下词汇：

2）掌握句型：1) He tried to ....

2) What a ...(he / she is)! 3) 能理解课文

1) 能简明简述人物生平和评论人物。

2) 能在听说读写的语言活动中理解和运用一般现在时、现在进行时、一般将来时和一般过去时态（一般疑问句句）。

革命先烈给我们创造了如此和平的生活环境，我们后人要懂得还社会和谐和文明。4．Learning Strategies学习策略：

积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务。

了解中外名人事迹对人们的不同影响

I．Warming up

1. Free talk 2. Guessing game and present the title：

( 通过谜语、图片或视频展示著名人物，激发学生学习兴趣，引出课题，也为下面学习做铺垫)

II. Leading in

Show the famous persons and learn the words of occupation：inventor，actor，musician，doctor，teacher，writer，painter，leader，light bulb，movie

（通过展示的著名人物，学习人物的代表职业,初步对各种人物事迹表达进行了解,并学习新词）

III. Presentation

1. Show the main person: Dr Sun Yatsen

2. Learn the phrases and sentences: a very famous and important person in Chinese history

3. T: Can you tell something about Dr Sun Yatsen?

Present the phrases: try to free the Chinese people
