教学目标:

Language focus :

1.Teaching the new words: matter, can, can’t, colour, black, blue, green, white, rainbow, purple, violet…; 2. To teach the new sentences: What colour is your ball? It’s red and white.

Developing aim:1. using predicative adjectives of colour to describe objects;

2. Asking wh-questions to find out various kind of information about an object. Ability aims and emotion aims:Devotion to and pursuit of the beautiful; sensitivity to artistic beauty and refined taste. 教学重点:

1. To recognize the names of different colours.

2. Asking wh-questions to find out various kind of information about an object.

教学难点:

To recognize the colours of the rainbow and the order of the colours.

课前准备:

1. Student's book 3B. 2. The tape and a recorder. 3. Pictures.

教学过程:

Ⅰ.Pre-task preparation. Warming up.

1)Review the letters. 2) Point to the cards, ask and answer ‘What can you see? What colour is……. Is it …?’

Ⅱ.While-task procedure. 1. Colour and write. 1) Show some colours, and introduce ‘two kind of colors compromises the tertiary color, will have another kind of color.’

2) Try to make experiments with colours. 3)Make a careful note of the result of the experiment. 4) Use ‘Mix … and … ,it’s ….’to report. 设计意图:

复习字母,并通过问答,复习单词与句型。

通过调色实验了解颜色变化,练习用‘Mix …

and …

,it’s ….’来表示研究结果。

2. Say and write. 1) Look at the pictures, listen and repeat the dialogue. 2) In pairs, make a new dialogue.

Ⅲ. Post-task activity. Discussion. 1)Tell students that different colours can give people different feelings. Blue & white can make people calm and peaceful. Blue can also represent sadness and white is the colour of purity. Yellow and orange make you feel warm, happy and contented. Orange represents joy while yellow is the colour of wisdom. Green makes you feel energetic. It represents new life and growth.Red represents power. It is also the colour of heat and strong feelings. 2)Let students think about: How can colour change people’s moods?

Homework

:Mix the colours. Recite the dialogue. 根据实验与对话,进行对话创编,培养学生灵活运用语言的能力。

拓展相关知识,进行美育,体会颜色对人的心理影响。

问答实践,巩固新句型。

板书设计:

yellow + blue =green

red + yellow = orange

black + white = grey

white + red = pink
