教学内容：

Look and learn，Draw and say

教学目标：

知识目标

1、运用单词卡片及ppt，帮助学生学习表示公共场所的单词。

2、在用there be 句型描述家所在的位置和周边公共场所时，巩固生词。

语言技能

能听懂并谈论家所在街区及周边公共场所的句子。

情感态度

激发学生了解所在社区环境的热情。

教学重点：

1、词汇：street, park ,supermarket,restaurant

2、句型：My home is on…。 There is a …near my home.

There are …near my home.

教学难点：

1、单词supermarket,restaurant 的拼读及书写。

2、能用句型My home is on…。 There is a …near my home.

There are …near my home.来描述自己家所在的街区及公共场所。

教具准备：

单词卡片、多媒体课件

教学过程：

Step1：Warm up

1、

Greetings.

2、Review. 运用书本第43页下方的图，提问并要求学生说出房间内各种物品的位置。

T:What’s in the room? Ss:There are …。

T:Where is the…？ S:It’s …。

（设计意图：帮助学生复习已经学过的表示地点的介词和询问物品位置的句型，以旧引新，为本课时的学习做铺垫。）

Step2：Presentation 1、教师运用课本第50页的街区地图，通过Listen and say向学生介绍：My home is on… street。 （设计意图：通过图片的直观显示，向学生输入本课的新知。）

2、出示Look and learn 的单词卡片，教学本课的三个新词并板书。

3.运用多媒体课件学习新单词：supermarket,shop,park,restaurant,school等，同时复习句型There is a... There are ...

T:This is Park Street.There is a park on Park Street. 4、Match and say

It’s a... There is a ... There are ... I can... 5、Look and say. 复习学过的介词in,on under，感知新介词near, behind. 6、

1、请学生看Draw and say，在画框中画上自己家所在街区的地图，标出路名，街上的餐厅、公园、学校、商店等，完成后，学生互相讨论

2、Pair work: S1: Where is your home? S2: My home is on…

3、请准备好的学生，两人一组，到讲台前说给全班学生听。

Step 4 Consolidation

Chant: Park Street，Park Street，My home is on Park Street. A park, a park, there is a park near my home.

Restaurant, restaurant, there is a restaurant near my home.

Supermarket, supermarket, there is a supermarket near my home.

（设计意图：在说说唱唱中巩固本课新学的生词。）

Step 5 Homework

1、听、读、写本课的单词，并试着记住它们。

2、要求学生调查自己家附近的公共场所，仿照书上的地图，绘制一张地图。
