Teaching aims: (一)能力目标：

1、学生能够理解短文大意；能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读短文。

2、能够在图片和教师的帮助下读懂短文并完成读后活动。

3、能够在情景中运用句型They have... They can...They are...描述动物的外貌特征和能力。

4、能够写出动物的具体变化。

（二）知识目标：

1、学生在语境中能理解新词：kitten,fur,still,noise的意思，并能正确发音。

2、能理解日记中描述小猫生长过程的句子。

3、能说小猫生长变化的时间，能够在情景中运用句型They have... They can...They are...描述动物的外貌特征和能力。

4．通过观察，能简单描述小动物，以达到以致用的目的。

（三）情感目标：

通过本课学习，引导学生在生活中多观察动物，和小动物友好相处，保护动物。

Keys and difficulties （一）本课教学重点是：

1.能正确运用本课时主要句型They have …They can…描述动物

的特征和能力。

2.学习描述动物特征的词汇

(二)本课教学难点是：

能抓住对比句子来理解动物的生长过程。

It’s on .... Step2 Presentation T: My friend had gave me a cat for my birthday gift last weekend. Look, it’s very cute. But Sarah also has a very cute cat, too. Look, her cat has two kittens. Do you know kittens?They are baby cats. Sarah is so happy and she writes some diaries about the kittens. Teach the word: diary.

Step3 Reading and practice 1.

3. Emotional education: Animals are our good friends, we should love and care more about them. Step5. Homework 1.
