本课所授内容为湘少版教材四年级（上）第二单元It’s a circle.中的第一课时，是一节新授课。教学内容为B部分以及主题句型的教学，具体如下：

学习新单词dot, line, square, circle掌握和运用句型What’s this/that?及其回答It’s a…

来谈论形状以及进行简单的问答和对话.

本单元第一课时40分钟

[学情分析]

学生在三年级上学期已经学过文具类等单词、学过关于猜猜物体的话题，掌握了What’s this/that?及其回答It’s a…的对话。三年级(下)五单元学了How many pens are there?句型并掌握良好。

[教学目标]

1、能听懂、会读、会说新单词: dot, line, square, circle。

2、熟练掌握并能灵活运用句型: What’s this/that?及其回答It’s a…来谈论形状，并复习和运用旧知识How many…

are there? There is/ are...来谈论较为复杂的数学图形或是图画。

3、通过仔细观察、展开想象、体验绘画，来发现生活中的图形，并乐于创造美的事物。

[教学重点]

1、能听懂、会读、会说新单词: dot, line, square, circle。

2、熟练掌握并能灵活运用句型: What’s this/that?及其回答It’s a…来谈论形状，并在交际的情景中作出正确的反应。

[教学难点] 1、能掌握单词的正确读音，如square, circle的发音。

2、能熟练运用本课时的句型，并充分理解明白this/ that的区别。

CAI课件、教学图片、彩色硬纸片或吹塑纸数张、硬白纸数张、笑脸奖品

[教学步骤]

Step 1 Warming-up 1. Greetings

Good afternoon. Nice to see you. How are you? Today I have many smiling faces here, try your best and you will get them, ok? 2.

Let’s chant: I have a ruler.

拍手，跟唱。

Step 2 Presentation and drills

1.引出主题句：It’s a circle.(CAI) a. T: (showing a picture of a ruler, a bag, a ball and an eraser) Look, what can you see?

S: A ruler, a bag, an eraser and a ball. T: What else can you see?

T: We can see shapes.（教师释义shapes）(CAI) T: Today we’ll learn about shapes: Unit 2 It’s a circle. (教师一边板书课题，一边带读主题句。) T: (显示课件圆形图片) (showing a picture) Look, what’s that? T: It’s a circle.（教师重读单词circle）

b. 教师用升降调教读单词circle两遍，然后要学生大声朗读这个单词两遍。强调circle单词中“ir”的发音。

板书It’s a circle. 并画好圆形图片在新单词右边。要求学生在教师板书单词circle时，用手指在空中书写单词c-i-r-c-l-e, circle

d. 学生分组朗读句子。

my mouth carefully, it’s a line.

b. 教师带读单词, line- line (升降调)-a line-It’s a line. 教师强调line单词中“i”的发音。教师伸出手指演示直线。

板书It’s a line. 并画好直线图片在新单词右边。要求学生在教师板书单词line时，用手指在空中书写单词l-i-n-e, line.

教师要求学生分两组就课件直线图片进行问答练习。

3. 教学新单词: square. (CAI) a. (显示课件正方形图片) Please look, Can you ask me?(学生齐问：what’s that?)

b. 教师回答并带读单词, square - square (升降调)- It’s a square. 教师强调square单词中“are”的发音。教师用手指构成正方形。

c. 板书square. 并画好正方形图片在新单词右边。要求学生在教师板书单词square时，用手指在空中书写单词s-q-u-a-r-e, square.

d. 教师要求学生以小组为单位，就手指构成的正方形进行chain式的问答练习。

4.新单词:dot. (CAI) a. (显示课件圆点图片) Please look, what’s that? Is that a square?

b. 教师带读单词

dot - dot (升降调)- a dot -It’s a dot. 教师强调dot单词中“o”的发音。

c. 板书dot. 并画好圆点图片在新单词右边。要求学生在教师板书单词dot时，用手指在空中书写单词d-o-t, dot.

d. 教师要求学生分男孩和女孩就课件圆点图片进行问答练习。

Step 3 Practice

1. Let’s play a game:

1) Play and say. a. (教师演示铁丝为直线状态) T: Look, What’s this? S: It’s a line. (教师演示铁丝为圆圈状态) T: Look, What’s this?

S: It’s a circle. T: Do you want to play? Please take this and make shapes, then talk about the shapes with your partner.

2) Show and act. a. T: Do you want to act here? Who want to try? S: (Show and act.)

Step 4 Consolidation. 1. Look and guess. a. T: You are so lovely. Do you want to play another game? Look, what are they? What is that?(CAI)

b. The children begin to say out the answers loudly. c. Praise the smart children. 2. Find and say. (CAI)

a. T: Shapes are here and there in our lives. Can you find the shapes in our classroom?(教师演示课件)

b. Then the students talk about the things in the classroom with “What’s this/that? It’s a…”.( 让学生们自己在教室里找形状) c. The children begin to act the dialogue. 3. Think and do. (CAI) a. T: Look, what are they? S: They’re circles, lines, dots and squares. T: How many circles are there? S: There are …

T: And how many dots are there? S: There are …

T: How about lines and squares? S: There are …

T: I’ll play a magic game for you. Look carefully, one two three, what’s that? S: It’s a boy.

T: Yes. Different shapes can make different pictures.不同的形状可以拼成不同的画。Do you want to try? Ok, Please draw pictures with your partners in three minutes. b. The students begin to draw some pictures with your colour pens. c. T: Who will show your pictures? Please. Let’s share them. The students begin to introduce the pictures like this: This is a line.\There are three triangles.\ And this is a square.\ It’s a tree.

Step 4 Homework. 1.

a. T: Today we’ve learned: It’s a circle. It’s a line, it’s a dot, and it’s a square.

Today’s homework: 1)Take photos and describe the shapes.拿上相机拍一拍你看到的形状吧！2)Design pictures with different shapes.用不同的形状设计图片。

b. T: Class is over. Goodbye, boys and girls!
