To describe the activities people can do in different seasons by using the verbal phrases. 2. To write a rhyme logically with the help of key points.

Background analyses: Students of Grade 3 have learnt English more than two years. They’re interested in learning English and communicating with classmates in English classes. This is the 2nd period of this unit. In the 1st period, students have learnt and reviewed key words and verb phrases to identify seasons and activities. They’ve also learnt the pattern “What season is it?/ What can you see/hear in ...?”

what do you have in …?They can get information by inquiring others. On the other hand, students are lack of verb phrases to identify the other activities for different seasons. In this lesson we present colourful seasons in different countries by “Global eyes”. We’d like to let our kids know “ Colourful seasons, wonderful world!” We design the activities and offer learning materials around topic. We want to cultivate the students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
