【教学目标】

1、听、说、认读单词：head, arm, body, hand, leg, foot(feet) ，并能初步使用句型I have …. My … is/are ….介绍自己的身体部位特征。

2、学生通过观看有趣的卡通片、和老师一起画卡通人物、扮演自己喜欢的卡通人物进行身体部位特征介绍等语言活动，在真实的语境中感知、学习并初步使用英语介绍各个身体部位的特点。

3、通过本课的学习，学生能体会出funny 的含义，知道生活中处处充满funny。

【教学重点与难点】

重点：6个新单词的认读和句型I have …. My … is/are ….的初步运用。

难点：1、单词head和hand的读音区别及hands的读音。

2、单词foot的复数形式feet。

3、能初步运用I have …and…. My … is/are ….的句型介绍自己的身体特征。

【教学流程】

I. Pre-task preparation 1、Greeting. 2、Draw a boy’s head and a girl’s head on the board,tell the pupils in this class they’ll have a competition between boys and girls. 【设计意图：通过竞赛，激发学生学习兴趣。】

II. While-task procedures 1、

Watch a video about a funny cartoon:Tom and Jerry.Ss understand the meaning of ‘Funny cartoons’.Then read after the teacher:Funny cartoons.

【设计意图：通过观看有趣的动画片，激发学生学习兴趣，使学生在情境中自然而然体会Funny cartoons.的意思，揭示单元主题。】

2、T:Do you like cartoons? Ss:Yes. T:Now let’s draw a funny cartoon character. T draws and Ss look and say:two small eyes,a long nose,a small mouth,two big ears.(Review these phrases.) T continues to draw a big head then asks:Who’s he?Look!Hello!I’m Beebo.Is he funny?Ss:Yes. T:Because he has a big head.Now I’m Beebo.Hello!I’m Beebo.Look at me.I have a big head.Learn:head, a head,a big head,I have a big head. T:How about you?S:I have a small head.

T draws two small hands.Learn:hand,two hands,two small hands,I have two small hands.Compare:head,hand T draws a short arm and Ss learn:an arm(are,car--___m),then draw the other one and learn:two arms.Then Ss try to fill:_____arms,_____long/short arms,I have _____long/short arms.
