Step1: Warm-up 1.

Sing a song. 2.

Watch a short video. Learn new word “strong”. Step2: Presentation 1.

Watch a cartoon.

2.

Show pictures on PPT, learn new sentence “Are they…?”

And use “Yes,they are./No,they aren’t.”to answer.

3.

Follow to read. 4.

Read by themselves. 5.

Read by role-play. 6.

Have a break :sing a song. Step3: Practise In this part, through game pass, students will practise new words and sentences. 1.

Practise sentence “I like…. They’re….”

2.

Memory game.

Give Ss 10 seconds to remember the animals on the pictures,then cover them. Let Ss use “They’re ...”to guess. 3.

Guessing game. One students tell teacher an animal,then the other students ask him/her “Are they....?”to guess. 4.

Guess who am I? Show them a cartoon, to guess who the animal is. 5.

Talk about the animal families.(Work in groups) Step4:Production Use adjectives to talk about myself . ”I’m…”

Then tell them “I’m unique!” Love themselves. Step5:Summary&Homework Draw your favourite animals and discribe them in a group.
