课题:U1 feeling sick 课型:巩固课

课时:第二课时

教学目标:

本课要求学生巩固上一课时所学的词组have a cold, have a fever, have a stomachache, have a headache, stay in bed, see the dentist, take some medicine, drink some water以及句型What’s the matter/wrong with you? I have a cold. Please stay in bed. 引导学生学会表达自己的身体不适以及向他人表达关心并提出建议。

教学重难点:熟练运用本课新单词与句型表达自己不适及向他人表示关心和提出建议。

教学过程:

Step 1: Greeting & Lead-in T: How are you today? Ss: I’m fine, thank you. T: Ahah, you are feeling good today. I’m glad to hear that. But I’m not feeling good today. I’m feeling sick.

Step 2: Presentation

T: Do you know what’s wrong with me? (touch the face) T: Yes, I have a toothache. Have a toothache. Tooth-ache-toothache. Have a toothache. Please do with me.(Lead Ss to act out ) You can ask me...(guide Ss to speak out the target sentence ) Ss: What’s wrong with you? T: I have a toothache. So what should I do? (present the picture and guide Ss to speak out “You should see the dentist”) 用同上方法复习其余词组,并从问第二人称加大难度到第三人称: ----What’s wrong with him/her? ----He/She has a... ----What should he/she do? ----He/She should... (设计意图:教师的肢体动作与图片相结合自然引入词组与句型,采用构词法

tooth+ache 的方式加强学生的记忆。)

Step3: Practice1---Sharp eyes 图片快速闪过,要求学生快速说出相应的单词和短语。

T: Look at the pictures and speak out the words. Pay attention. It’s quick. (设计意图:该活动能集中学生的注意力,巩固学生对词汇意思和读音的掌握)

Step4: Practice 2---Guessing game 遮盖图片的一部分,让学生猜测图中的人物怎么了。

T: Look at the picture and guess what’s wrong with the people. T: Guess, what’s wrong with him? Ss: He has a ... T: Let’s see. Yes! You’re right. The Whole class read together.

---What’s wrong with him? ---He has a cold. (设计意图:通过看图猜测引起学生好奇心与积极性,在轻松的氛围中操练句型) Step 5:Practice 3 ---Look & Say(semi-controlled practice) 图片展示医院里的四间病房。

T: Where is it? Yes, it’s a hospital. Here are four rooms. In the rooms some people are feeling sick. Let’s go in and have a look. Ex. ---What’s wrong with him?

---He_____________. (has a fever)

---He should________________. (drink some water) 引导学生看图完成对话,并逐渐减低对话的完整度直到全部对话内容由学生自己完成。

(设计意图:创设医院的情境,在情境中操练句型,循序渐进让学生逐步掌握)

Step 6. Practice 4---Write a subscription(free practice) a.学生扮演医生和病人的角色进行对话,并填写小病历。

Ex.

T: Hello. What’s your name? S1: My name is Coco. T: How old are you? S1: I’m 10. T: What’s wrong with you? S1: I have a cold. T: Don’t worry. Please take some medicine and stay in bed. S1: Thank you.

b.小组口头报告并展示病历
