一．教学目标：

知识与技能：1、

四会掌握词汇weather, spring, summer, autumn, winter, hot, cold.

2、四会掌握句型What's the weather like...?

3、三会掌握词汇season,warm,cool. 过程与方法：三会掌握日常交际用语Which season do you like best?

I like... it's ... I can.. 情感态度与价值：会用英语表达对某个季节的喜好，并说出理由。

二、教学重点：Aim: 1,2,3,4

三、教学难点：1、四个季节的名称及其天气特征。

2、灵活运用所学句型进行交际。

五、教学过程：

Step1. Lead – in

1. Greeting

2. Sing a song “rain, rain , go away”

Step2. Presentation

1. Teach: season spring summer fall winter

There are four seasons in a year.

They are spring, summer, fall and winter.

Dicuss two questions:

1. How many seasons are there in a year?

2. What are they?（学生讨论：一年有几个季节？他们分别是什么？）

学生说一年有四个季节，分别是春天，夏天，秋天和冬天。

板书：There are four seasons in a year.

They are spring, summer, fall and winter.

Step3.practice

new words: spring, summer ,fall ,winter. T : Let’s look at the pictures on the blackboard , 并在黑板上写出：”spring , summer , fall ,winter.”这四个单词，

T : Put to the pictures then ,It’s spring , summer , fall ,winter,让他们重复跟着老师读，反复操练。接着老师指定哪一个季节名称，让学生说出对应图画的序号。

Step4.Teach the drills:

T: Do you like spring ? why ?(问：你们喜欢春天吗？为什么？)

学生会说喜欢，因为天气暖和，万物复舒。

T: I like spring. It’s warm. Bird sing and trees turn green in spring.

（教师解释句子意思：我喜欢春天，它很暖和，鸟语花香，万物复舒，warm：暖和的，并带读本句）

T：Do you like summer? Why ?

S: Yes/No….

T: I like summer. It’s hot .We can go swimming.

(我喜欢夏天，它很热，我们能去游泳。)

T: Do you like fall ? Why ?

T: I like fall. It’s cool . We can pick apples in fall.

(我喜欢秋天，它很凉爽，我们可以在秋天摘苹果

cool：凉爽的)

T: Do you like winter? Why ?

T: I like winter. It’s cold .We can make snowman in winter.

（我喜欢冬天，它很冷，我们能堆雪人。

cold：寒冷的

snowman：雪人）

T : Close your books , boys and girls . Can you read the sentence ? and then listen to the tape。

S : Yes .

5、Practice in pairs.

让学生看对话例文，举起课本，指着画有春天的那幅图画说：“I like spring. It’s warm.”让学生多熟悉课文，接着让同桌之间继续做指图描述练习，便于学习掌握词汇和巩固句型。例如：

S1 : I like spring. It’s warm. Bird sing and trees turn green in spring.

S2 : I like summer. It’s hot .We can go swimming.

S3 : I like fall. It’s cool . We can pick apples in fall.

S4 : I like winter. It’s cold .We can make snowman in winter.
