【设计思路】

单元主题In the forest（在森林里）是学生比较感兴趣的。本单元涉及森林里的相关动物，包括fox, hippo等；在观察、描述各种动物的同时，能运用Look at…It’s.. It ikes…等句型描述动物，

感受其食性，涉及meat, grass等单词；在此过程中，感受动物的不同特征，学会爱护动物。本课时，借助森林里举行birthday party的场景，以fox和hippo为学习主线，引入不同的野生动物，如：fox, hippo等，通过自我描述、问答等方式，结合”I’m... I can...I like... “等句型来学习新知，涉及动物的食性类词汇，如：meat, grass等，从而了解野生动物的不同特点。

创设森林动物与新朋友树懒初次见面的情境，初步了解故事内容。

学生能够在教师的指导下，以动物拟人的形式完成“制作和交换名片，并进行自我介绍”的任务。

在完成任务的过程中，初步感知和学习单词fox, hippo, meat, grass, sloth, forest，建立音和义的联系。

能用第一人称

‘Look at me. I’m… I can… I like…’的结构扮演小动物，并从动物特点、能力和食物的角度进行自我介绍。

感受动物之间热情好客的情谊，初步学习如何与他人问候和交朋友，体验交流的乐趣。

通过阅读hippo的介绍，让学生找出相关信息，填入到名片中，并根据信息的汇总进行介绍，进一步操练语言结构。

教师逐步放手，让学生尝试完成猴子的名片并进行介绍。
