Famous places around China. 执教者:石忠玉

教学内容与分析:

本课的课型为阅读课,主要介绍中国的一些景点和名胜古迹.在第一课时已经教授单词wonder,mile, Terracotta Warriors and horses, Province,句型

Yellow Mountain is famous for its mountain and pine trees.学生通过第一课时的学习对以上单词和句型掌握较好,对于一些国内的名胜古迹已有所了解,本节课是第二课时,教授的重点是让学生进一步了解国内的景点,适当拓展国外的景点,让他们试着介绍更多的景点,正确看待国内游和国外游,初步形成自己对于旅游的理性认识.通过本课的学习,让他们明白在旅游中,在欣赏美景,领略不同文化和异域风情的同时,要注意自己的行为举止,文明礼貌出行.

学情分析:

我所执教的是六年级A班,他们通过六年的英语学习,已经具备一定的语言交际能力,在平时的自主学习中也养成了很好的学习***部分学生喜欢表达,并向他人分享自己或者小组的想法,对于本课的教学内容,学生已经掌握单词wonder,mile, Terracotta Warriors and horses, Province,句型

教学目标以及重难点:

一.知识与技能:已知单词wonder,mile, Terracotta Warriors and horses, Province

已知句型:1.Yellow Mountain is famous for its mountain and pine trees.

2.The Great Wall is one of the greatest wonders of the world. 二.难点

1.

要求单词读音准确,以及能够灵活运用本课的基本句型. 2.

学生能够在小组内合作完成对于不同景点的介绍,景点的介绍涉及知识面广. 3.

能够对于旅游提出自己的认识,并能对他人的观点发表自己的认识.

教学过程及步骤:

Step 1 :Warm-up 1.Greetings 2.Three minutes show about travel

(设计意图:通过对于学生对于自己旅游的介绍,既丰富学生视野,也为引出本课的主题

Famous places around China做铺垫.)

Step 2:presentation 1.

Before reading:

1) How many places did Lily travel ? What were they ?

2) How did she feel after the trip? T: We know Lily has just finish her trip around China, Books open .Read it and find out the

answers. (设计意图:通过通读全文,整体感知,培养学生通过阅读快速获取信息的能力)

2.Answers the questions and read them. 3.Have students ask more questions about the passages. T :These are my questions about the passages,how about yours ? Now read it again and think about your questions.

4.Talk about in their groups. 5.Ask them to tell more about the four famous places in our books.

T : Can you tell more about the four places ? (设计意图:学生在通过阅读获取到信息后,让他们根据自己的旅游经历,运用所学知识,谈谈自己对于以上景点的一些补充,丰富他们知识和扩大视野.)

Step 3: Practice 1.T: Everybody has traveled before, can you tell us more about some others places that you have ever traveled ? ( abroad or domestic ) 2.Talk in groups. 3.Ask groups to introduce famous places. (设计意图:让学生小组合作,介绍不同的景点,有国内的,也有国外的,拓宽他们的视野,为后面的辩论做铺垫.)

4.Have a debate :

Travel around China or abroad

Step 4: Consolidation 1.

When you are traveling, No matter where you are , just pay attention to your behaviors, do what you can do,protect the environment 文明礼貌出行,爱护环境.

Step 5:Homework Write an English composition about famous places.
