To master the right pronunciation of the following words: elephant, lion 三、教学过程 活动1【导入】Warm-up

1.Greeting: T: Hello, Boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Miss Wu. T: Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too. T: How are you? Ss: Fine, thank you. And you? T: I’m OK. Thanks.

2.Sing a song《I am a lovely panda》

活动2【讲授】Presentation 1. Let the students the animal in the song. Tell them pandas are our friends. Then ask the students what else animal friend do you know? Show the pictures of cat and dog. Then tell the students pandas, cats and dogs are my old friends. 2. Now, Boys and girls. Let’s go to the zoo and meet some new friends! Show the PPT. Look, Who are they? They are animals. Now, let’s go and meet them one by one.

3. Show the tiger of PPT, Ask: What’s this? Help the students answer: It’s a tiger .The teacher wears the tiger headdress and go to the middle of the students to teach the word tiger. The students read the word follow the teacher. Then go back to the front and put the word card on the blackboard .Let the students read together. 4. Teach the words: elephant, lion, and giraffe in the same way. 活动3【练习】Practice 1. The teacher hand in the tiger headdress, ask one student: What’s this? The student answer: It’s a tiger. Then the student ask next one student the same question in the same way. 2. Do a game. Guess what’s in my hand? .Who guess right, he or she will get the chance to ask next one. The student guessed will introduce her or him like this: Hello, I’m a tiger. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, too.

2. Make a conclusion. Show the animal pictures again, tell the students: Animals are our good friend, we should love and protect them.
