Unit 2

He Has a Funny Face

Lesson 1(第一课时)

万州区王牌小学徐燕

教学内容:本节课的主要学习内容是学习face, eye, nose, ear, mouth, hair六个生词及句型Can you talk about … ? Yes. He/ She has ….并能运用本课时词汇灵活运用句型。

教学目标

1、知识技能:

(1)能听、说、读、认本课时的四会单词:face, eye, nose, ear, mouth, hair 。

(2)能听懂、会说并替换句型:Can you talk about … ? Yes. He/She has ….

(3)通过合作学习,完成Let’s play and practise 部分。

2、能力目标:

(1)能用英语简单描述他人五官特征。

(2)能运用所学的语言知识在创设的情景中进行交际,并在此基础上应用于日常生活中。

3、情感目标:

通过巧教、趣教,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,达到巧学、趣学,提高学习效果;激发学生与人合作,善于竞争。

教学重点:

(1)掌握四会单词:face, eye, nose, ear, mouth, hair 。

(2)能听懂、会说、替换句型:Can you talk about … ? Yes. He/ She

has 。。。。.并能简单回答。

教学难点:1. mouth 的读音

2. has, hair 的用法

3.运用新旧知识大胆交流也是本课时的难点之一。

教学用具:PPT,单词卡片,句子条

学生情况分析

四年级的学生接触英语已有一年,对英语的学习有一定的爱好兴趣和认知能力,也有一定的学习英语的习惯。利用他们已有的知识和能力以及他们大胆,爱表现,喜欢受表扬的个性特征,在教师示范到位的情况下,能用英语进行问候、替换并能用英语进行简单的表达和交流。因此,只要课堂活动安排得当,他们完全能够在40分钟内掌握生词和句型并进行简单的交流

由于班额大,来源广,参差不齐,个体差异大,喜欢表现的学生学习劲头足,内向的学生还会保持沉默。为了能较好地完成任务,让每一位学生都有所获,在教学活动的设计中,结合学生实际,设计出教学有层次、活动有梯度、面向全体学生的教学方案。

一、教学过程

Step1:Warm-up

1.欣赏歌曲《Joker Has a Funny Face》

2.Duty report

3.Greetings

4.Divide groups

5.Review

(1)words: red yellow blue brown black,

pink green purple white orange.

(2)phrases:

red pen blue pencil green skirt yellow shirt

pink car black cat brown bear white rabbit

(3)I say, you do

T:Stand up. Sit down,please!

Show me your book. Show me your pen

Open me your book. Close me your book.

Touch your face.

6. Lead-in

当学生听到touch face ,不知所措时,师就将手touch在脸上, I can touch my face.并指着脸问生,What’s this ?从而引出对新知的学习. (设计意图:播放熟悉的旋律,既让学生收心,又让学生思维活跃起来,从而触及学生的兴奋点,并给学生一种“课伊始,趣亦生”的感觉。同时通过用滚雪球的形式复习旧知,达到了层层推进引出新知,并为后面的的学习做好铺垫的目的。)

Step2:Presentation

1. Learn“face”

(1)引出face, 师示范读(s a me---n a me-- c a ke—t a ke--f a ce)

(2)出示face,再出示touch face.

(3)T: Look at me, this is my face. I have a face.( 师将have 单词贴在自己的胸前) I touch my face. Please touch your face

(4)出示funny face. 师将备好的橡皮泥贴在自己的脸上或用红五星贴于脸上。Look at me, I have a funny face.

(5)学习funny face.并将词卡贴在课题上面。

(6)师画简笔画于黑板上. I can draw a face.

2. Learn by yourself

(1). 出示单词nose, eye, ear, mouth, hair. 听音

(2). 出示自学要求。

Four people get together(前后四人一组)

Try to pronounce the new words(试着拼读新单词)

Teach and learn each other(互教互学)

3. Learn “no se”

(1) 生汇报,师画简笔画(可以喊学生上台画五官)

(2)听音跟读(n o—n o se)

(3) 师示范读

(4)练习。Nose, nose, I have a nose.

Nose, nose, touch your nose.(faster and faster)

(5)出示幻灯,让生认读。What a big nose! What a long nose!

(6)同桌练习,师相机指导并纠错。

4. Learn “mouth”

(1)师:Listen to me. Guess, what ’s it ?

It can speak and sing. We have food with it. We have drink with it ,too.

(师)Yes. It’s a mouth.

(2)学习mouth

师出示:ou t—ou th----m ou th (做动画,突破难点)

th ree—th anks---ma th--mou th

(3)I say,you do

T: Touch your mouth, please! Open your mouth, please!

Close your mouth, please!

(4)出示幻灯。

T: Now, Look at the picture! What colour is it?

Yes, it’s purple/ pink.

5. Learn “eye”

( 1 ) 生汇报,师画简笔画

(2)学习eye s

A. 学习eye时,师可以指着自己的眼睛和鼻梁练习e-y-e, eye. e-y-e, eye.

B. 出示幻灯。How many eyes can you see? Two.

How many eyes do you have? Two.

(3). 师问学生,Where are your eyes? Here!

( 4 ) Let’s do(做错了的学生自觉坐下,谁是最后的胜利者)

Eye, eye ,touch your eye. Eyes, eyes, touch your eye s

Eye, eye, open your eye. Eyes, eyes ,open your eye s.

Eye, eye, close your eye . Eyes, eyes, close your eye s .

(设计意图:发挥学生自主学习的精神,让其自主的去发现,去学习,自行找到答案。)

6. Learn “ear”

(1) 生汇报,师画ears

(2)学习ear s。,

A. 学习ear时,师可以指着自己的耳朵练习e-a-r, ear. e-a-r, ear.

B. 出示幻灯。How many ears can you see? Two.

How many ears do you have? Two.

(3)I can say: 出示课件touch ear. Touch ear s.

(5)I can do: Touch your ear. Touch your ear s.

(6)同桌练习,师相机指导并纠错。

6. Learn “hair”(强调hair是不可数名词,没有复数形式)

(1) 指名回答,师画简笔画hair

(2) 学习hair (air—h air)出示单词卡

(3) 出示幻灯。Look, what color is it? brown hair / purple hair.

思想教育:Hello, boys and girls! we are pupils, we don’t dye our hair.

(4)师用一根头发,两根头发和一头头发比较,理解hair 是不可数名词.(课件出示,突破难点)

(5)判断:I have a hair.()I have black hair s. ( ) I have black hair.()

(设计意图:在学习新词后,通过一些有趣的活动来巩固新知,而且是我们刚刚学过的一些指令性语言,如Open/Close your mouth.学生非常感兴趣,同时采用听音做动作,做错后自觉被淘汰而坐下来竞争谁是最后的冠军。将新旧语料结合,新旧活动结合,易懂易学,学生兴趣盎然。)

三、Practice

1. 巩固所学新单词。

(1)师出示课件,让生认读

(2)Look at your books, read books together.

2. Make a chant

•耳朵ear听声音眼睛eye看东西

•鼻子nose闻气味嘴巴mouth会说话

•脸是face爱干净

(1)生自由读,齐读。

(2)Fill in the blanks.

耳朵___听声音眼睛____看东西鼻子____ 闻气味嘴巴____会说话脸是____ 爱干净

思想教育:Face, ears, eyes, nose, hair and mouth are part of my body. One of them is very important to us. We must protect them. (五官是我们身体的重要组成部分,它们对我们的身体很重要。我们应该要好好保护它们。)

3. Let’s do (小组合作,用自己喜欢的方式表演)。

Close your eyes. Open your mouth.

Touch your nose. Touch your ears. Touch your face. 4. I can say (1) 师出示兔子图,让生说出五官单词。

(2) 再出示兔子图,让生说出带有颜色的五官短语。

(设计意图:在学完新知后,通过一些贴近学生生活的有趣活动,将知识融入玩乐中,让学生在玩中学,在学中玩。)

四.Learn sentences

1. Listen and color

师:Now, look! He has yellow hair(师将小丑的头发涂成黄色)。What color is the mouth, nose? What color are the ears and eyes? Can you color? Who can try, come here?

2. Reveal the topic

T: Look! He has yellow hair. He has blue eyes. He has a green nose. He has a red mouth and white ears. Ha ha , he is a Joker. (师将小丑图片贴在黑板上)

师趁机将两颗红星贴于Joker脸上,引出funny face. 从而揭示课题He has a funny face.

板书课题。He has a funny face. (师将He has a 图片贴在黑板上,完善课题)师生齐读课题。

3. Learn has

师将has卡片贴在一名男生胸前,He has a face.

师又将has卡片贴在一名女生胸前。She has a face.

4.Practice(区别have 和has的用法)。

(1)T:Look!I have a nose/mouth/yellow hair.

He/ She has a nose/mouth/yellow hair.

(2)出示句子比较:

I have a red mouth. He has a red mouth.

She has a red mouth.

(3)Fill in the blanks

I______a red mouth. He_____a red mouth .

She_____a red mouth .

5. Learn“Can you talk about Joker?”

(1)师出示句子,并板书。

(2)师示范。边读边做动作。生模仿并操练。(row, group, line)强调talk about

(3)师根据板书引导学生回答。Yes. He has__________.(师板书)

5. Play a game

? . Ask and answer question.

出示幻灯:Pass and

全班分两大组,一组传问号,一组传句号。师生一起念talk about……师叫stop 时,问号和句号在谁的手里,这两名学生就站起来一问一答。

A: Can you talk about Joker? B: Yes. He has_______________. 两遍之后,两大组交换。

Step 4. Extended exercises

1. Talk about Lu Hua

(1). 出示卢华的头像及文本。并将陆华图片贴于板书

T:Who’s this girl? She is Lu Hua.

Can you talk about Lu Hua ? Yes, she has black hair.

(2) 师完善板书She has__________.

(3) Fill in the blank

Who’s this ____? She is ______.

Can you_______ Lu Hua? Yes, she has ___________. (3)同桌或小组练习

2. Talk about Stanley

(1) 师出示斯坦利图。

出示文本:Look!Who is this boy?

He is Stanley. Can you talk about Stanley ?

Yes. He has black eyes and yellow hair.

(2)Fill in the blanks.

Look!Who is this ______? He is _______.

Can you _______ Stanley ? Yes, he has______ and ______. (3)Let’s read together.

Step 5: Extension development

小组合作学习(四人一组,课前画好自己喜欢的人物和动物,在组内练习,再指三组上台练习,用自己喜欢的方式回答)

T: Now, please take out your pictures, and talk with your friends.

(1)每组拿出备好的设计图

(2)小组内交流

(3)小组展示

(设计意图:通过创设情景,引出句型,再利用游戏来突破和巩固句型。再通过分组传递?和。,谁会成为幸运者,激发学生兴趣,再通过语言输入、文本再构,刺激学生对句型音形义的进一步掌握。)

Step 6: Make a summary

师根据板书总结本节课所学内容,适度评价,并告诉学生保护身体,注意用眼卫生。

(设计意图:通过板书总结,起到画龙点睛的作用。)

Step7: Homework

1. To be a little teacher。

将所学的单词和英语句子教教你的家人或朋友。并将你当小老师的情况在下节英语课上向老师和同学汇报。

2. Try to do(下课后到组长处领取)

Face, face, wash(洗) your face. Hair, hair ,comb(梳) your hair.

Nose, nose, touch your nose. Ears, ears, pull(拉)your ears. Mouth, mouth, open your mouth. Eyes, eyes, close your eyes. (设计意图:学习与生活相结合,学以致用。此环节将课堂延伸至课外,培养了学生的运用能力,让孩子的家人和朋友也来分享学习英语的快乐,从而更加激发孩子学习英语的欲望,真切体验学习英语的成功带来的喜悦,达到学以致用的目的。)
