1. 能够听、说、读、写序数词：first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd),

fourth(4th), fifth(5th).

2. 初步了解各序数词的用法及在句子中的读法、写法. Important &difficult points(重难点):

1.words：first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd),

fourth(4th), fifth(5th).的学习。

2.sentences：When is the sports meet?

It’s on April 4th..的学习。

1）Revision：Go over the old words:

May，June，July,august,September,October,November,December

2）猜字谜: 教师用课件出示谜面，学生在下面猜猜是哪个节日。并引出序数词第一。

1）板书：

3) T: Make a sentence:

April Fool’s Day is on April 1st..

S：Read after teacher （同样的方法巩固其他单, My birthday is on May 2nd.

明确告知学生在月份的第几日要用序数词,读时前面要加上定冠”the”, 同时在某月某日前要用介词on)。

4）用课件出示森林运动会的场景，用名次排序，及时巩固刚学习的序数词。

5) 句子操练：T: When is the sports meet??

Ss : It’s on April 4th.

T: When is Easter?....

Ss: It’s on April 5th….

6）Listen to the tape and read after it.

根据句意用所学的序数词正确填空。
