教学目标

1、知识目标

a.能够听说认读本课时的主要单词：thin, fat, tall,short. b.能够理解听懂Let’s do 部分内容。

2、能力目标

a.能够简单的描述动物的特征，如：look at that monkey! It’s thin. b.能够听懂指示语，按照指令做出相应的动作，如，Be thin, be thin, be thin thin thin. 3、情感目标

a.教育学生热爱动物，保护动物。

b.培养学生在动物园中良好的行为习惯。

教学重点与难点

重点：掌握并正确运用所学形容词，thin, fat, tall,short. 难点：Let’s do.听指令，做动作，要求老师在正确示范的基础上引导学生最终自主的做出相应的动作。

教学准备

1、教师准备本课时所需单词卡片。

2、教师准备动物图片。

教学过程

Step 1. warm up

presentation 1.

Teacher shows a picture of zoo and asks students “where are they?”

(write the title “at the zoo” on the blackboard)

Teacher shows some funny pictures about fat thing and teach word “fat”

T : fat, fat, fat. S :fat, fat, fat. Spell fat together and teacher write it on the blackboard.

Using the same way to teach word thin. 4.

Using fat and thin to describe two monkeys with sentence pattern “ Look at that monkey. It’s fat or thin.”

5.

Show a picture about Yao Ming and Jack Chen to lead word “ tall and short”.

The first one, students just listening. The second one, students follow video to read together. At last, students do some actions with this video. 7.
