一、

教学内容：本课时教学内容为Unit 4 When is Easter? Story time。故事中的zoom因为不擅长于唱歌，为了在唱歌考试中取得好成绩，每天坚持训练，终于得到了老师的表扬和夸奖。这个故事告诉我们熟能生巧，有志者事竟成。同时，也让学生从故事中受到教育。

二、

学情分析

对于小学五年级学生来说，他们已经有了一定的英语基础，经过一二年级的攀登英语的学习，三四年级的学***多数学生有一定的英语语言接受和表达能力，词汇量有一定的储备，能进行简单的口语交流，对教师的课堂指令和体态语言己有相当好的反应。学生学习兴趣较浓，积极性较高，但也有少数学生对语言的认知能力不强，缺乏一定的学习能力，反应较迟缓有待进一步提高。学生对日期的表达还不够流利。

三、教学目标：

1. 学生能够在图片的帮助下理解故事内容，复习巩固本单元重点语言。

2. 能够朗读故事，能够在教师的帮助下表演故事，提高学生综合运用英语知识的能力。

3. 教育学生在学习过程中要不懈努力，熟能生巧（Practice makes perfect）。

三、教学重难点：

1.教学重点: （1）Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party/play football with me after lunch? I want to practise my song. I need more practice. I’ll go swimming tonight.等举行的理解与掌握。

体会故事中的情感，懂得熟能生巧的道理，并能运用到学习生活中。

2. 教学难点：能够在语境中理解新词practise与practice的区别；在语境中理解Practice makes perfect. 的含义。
