Pre-learning Boys and girls, in this unit, we learned about some words about pets. (出示课题Pets，教读，贴于黑板上。) Can you see any words about pets? For example，

Ok. Well done. Let’s stop here. You know many words about pets. Pets are our good friends, so I like pets very much. Do you like pets? Do you like dogs/ rabbits? Let’s play a game about pets, ok? This is a guessing game. In this game, you can only see the tails of the pets. Please watch carefully, then guess what is it, ok?. Now let’s begin. Chicken ,chicken, It’s a chicken. Fish, fish, It’s a fish. Cat, cat, It’s a cat. Rabbit, rabbit, It’s a rabbit. Turtle, turtle, It’s a turtle. Duck, duck, It’s a duck. Snake, snake, it’s a snake. Dog, dog, It’s a dog. There are many pets here. And they are so pretty. Now please look at the chicken, can you tell me :What color is it? It’s yellow.

While-learning Today we’ll learn a dialogue about a pretty dog. Please open your books , and turn to page 41. First, please look at part A. In this picture, who can you see? Can you see Joy? I can see Binbin and Lily. And what pet can you see? Can you see a cat? 1)Please guess: Whose dog is it?

Maybe. Let’s read the dialogue, and try to find out the answer in it. So the dog is Binbin’s. And please look at this dog again. Do you like the dog? Why? Because it’s pretty, right? So we can see “What a pretty dog!”

Ok, there are many colorful pets here. I like the cat. I think it is pretty. So I will say” What a pretty cat!”（PPT呈现Binbin’s dog及句型What a pretty cat！）

2)Binbin has a pet, it’s a dog. How about Lily? Does Lily have a dog? So, Q2”What pet does Lily have?” Now let’s read the dialogue again, then answer this question. 3)Lily has a rabbit. We have some rabbits, too. Now please look: What is it? It’s a rabbit. Is it pretty? Yes. So we can see “What a pretty rabbit!” What does it look like?（板书句子教读）It’s yellow? It’s white. Pay attention to its ears. Its ears are long or short? So we can say”long ears”

（手势做成耳朵向上伸出）Pay attention to its eyes. What color are they? They’re black? So we can say：It has long ears and big eyes.（贴板书，教读。）分小组问答。

Together, it’s white. It has long ears and big eyes. This is rabbit A. Next one, rabbit B. What does it look like? It’s black. It has short ears and black eyes. Which rabbit is Lily’s? What does it look like? Why? Can you find the answer on your books? Take out your pencils. Underline the key sentences on your books. 将关键词贴在黑板上，再教读关键句型。小组问答。
