本单元主要学习联系方式有关的词汇send an email, write a letter, make a phone call, send a short message, mail a present, make a video call和功能句-What do you want to do on Mother’s Day?-I want to...，对不同的联系方式进行简单的描述，培养学生的想象力和运用已学知识说话的能力，达到培养学生综合运用语言的能力。21

1、能够听懂、会说与联系方式有关的六个词汇：send an email, write a letter, make a phone call, send a short message, mail a present, make a video call ；

Step1. Warming-up and revision （1）

Greeting to students. Begin by greeting the class with a smile and hello boys and girls! T: Hello, boys and girls. S: Hello, teacher. （2）Revise the last words and expressions. S1: It’s September 10th. What day is it? S2: It’s Teachers’ Day. S3: It’s January 1st.. What day is it?

S4: It’s New Year’s Day. Step2.

Learn the new words. Show the new words and phrases on the screen: send an email, write a letter, make a phone call, send a short message, mail a present, and make a video call. Play the recording again and have them read after the tape. Step3. Presentation

Dialogue study -What do you want to do on Mother’s Day?
