1．Revise past simple irregular verbs (affirmative, negative and interrogative)．
2．Ask the students to read the sentences in Activity 1. 3．Have them complete the sentences about Betty's life. 4．Have the students check the answers with a partner. 5．Check the answers. 6．Let them read the sentences aloud. Step 4：Practicing 2
1．Ask the students to read the passage in Activity 2. 2．Have the students complete the passage with the correct form of the words. 3．Let the students check the answers with a partner. 4．Check the answers. 5．Have the students read the passage aloud. 6．Ask the students to read the conversation and the words in the box in Activity 3.
7．Have the students complete the conversation with the correct form of the words from the box. You can use the words twice. 8．Let them share their answers.
9.Then check. Step 5：Homework
