Teaching aims: 1. Knowledge aims: a reception at the Chinese Embassy, meet some high senior students, the only problem is that, I wonder if, be kind enough to do sth, certain problem. 2.Ability aim: grasp how to write or reply an email. 3. Emotional aims: through sending an email, students can communicate with each other a lot to strenghten their friendship and emotion. Teaching methods: asking and answering questions, discussing and writing an email. Teaching procedures: 1. lead-in: show some pictures to let students to learn Chinese traditional message transitive ways.(teacher makes a list of some names to let students translate them into Chinese: flying pigeon biography, quick horse biography, flying a kite, signal fire, floating bottle. 2. show a cellphone to get students to know what functions cellphones have to send or receive information: call a phone, short message, QQ, Microblog, Wechat, Email. 3. read the email in Reading and Writing and answer some questions. Task 1:
