Step I Leading in

Show some pictures from famous stories, such as Hua qiangu, The legend of the white snake, The journey to the West. Ask students to describe the main idea of these stories. T: What kind of stories these are? Ss: Fantasy story. T: How many fantasy literatures mentioned in this module and what are they? Ss: His Dark Materials; The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; The Lord of the rings. T: Today, we will read the extract from The Subtle Knife, the second book of His Dark Materials.
