【教材分析】

Two Geniuses这篇文章介绍了爱因斯坦和他的司机的一段轶事，虽然说故事内容很可能是虚构的，但故事情节很有趣，人物刻画很传神，尤其是爱因斯坦的那种谦虚和气度让人钦佩。教师要引导学生通过故事阅读去掌握故事的大概内容，并达到对课文的深层次的理解。

【学情分析】

本班学生是来自美丽的新疆的少数民族的孩子。他们经过一年时间的学习和训练，已经基本掌握了上海的学习要求和课文解读方式，但因为基础薄弱，词汇量较小，阅读理解能力较差，对故事梗概的把握问题不大，但对全文的理解，尤其是人物特征的总结和表述有一定难度。
