The senior three students of cohort 2018 have basic understanding of the format and structure of an invitation letter. Also, they gradually form the habit of drafting in an organized way Analysis of the students by listing or mind-mapping.

However, judging from the performance of the last writing, a few of them omitted some items given in the task, and thus could not fully complete the writing task. Apart from that, more showed little awareness of the intended reader and wrote the letter from only the writer’s perspective.
