The passage is about the travel guide of New Zealand and the words ranges from seneries of the New Zealand to some famous sports activities. According to the teaching materials, students can easily get to know the basic travel imformation about New Zealand.

The Main Task: After learning the materials, students are able to selet the proper imformation to write a letter of invitation. Teaching Aims: In this period, the students will learn and master the content about 教学目标

Students are able to learn the reading skills about headlines 2.

Step 1 Lead in 1.Questions: The summer holiday is coming, would you like to travel to New Zealand. 2.Show the video of New zealand about the beautiful seneries and guess the meaning from the passage.
