Unit 2 lesson1

一、教学目标

1. 能够听懂、会说city, street, sports centre, hotel, square等表示城市中常见场所的词汇,以及buy toys, see a film, go boating 等表示活动的短语,并尝试借助拼读规律记忆单词。

2. 能够询问某个场所的位置,并能描述某个场所的位置。

3. 能够根据语境,选择本课所学词汇将句子补充完整,并且做到书写正确、规范。

二、教材内容分析

本课时的教学内容为新起点英语四年级下册P14,即A Look, listen and repeat, B Ask and answer, C Let’s write. A部分借助城市图片呈现五个目标词汇:city, street, sports centre, hotel, square,让学生通过看、听、说、做等途径来感知、理解并学习这些词汇。通过听录音让学生听懂谈论的内容,回答老师提出的问题。B部分通过对话活动,帮助学生操练词汇,并体会词汇在交际情景中的运用。C部分为让学生根据语境选择合适的词填空,正确完成书写练习。

三、学生情况分析

四年级的学生通过第一单元的学习,学习了restaurant, post office, bank, grocery, crossroads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇;以及across from, next to, between等表示方位的词汇;指路短语Turn left, turn right, go straight以及问路的功能句:Excuse me. Is there a …in the neighbourhood? How can I get to …? Go straight and turn left at the first crossroads. It’s between the bookstore and the grocery. Thank you. You’re welcome.这些都为这节课的顺利学习打下基础。

四、教学重难点

教学重点:

能够听懂、会说city, street, sports centre, hotel, square等表示城市中常见场所的词汇,以及buy toys, see a film, go boating 等表示活动的短语。

教学难点:

如何询问某个场所的位置,并能描述某个场所的位置。

五、教学过程

(一)复习

复习“My neighbourhood”所学内容:

师:Last class we learnt something about “My neighbourhood”.

Eg:There is a restaurant in my neighbourhood.Who can say?

生1:There is a bank in my neighbourhood..

生2:There is a grocery in my neighbourhood.

生3:There is a hospital in my neighbourhood..

……

(二)新授

Today we are going to learn “Unit 2 Lesson 1”

A look, listen and repeat

1学生看课件,学习新单词city, street, sports centre, hotel, square,从图上理解并领会单词的意思,学生跟读,反复读,操练单词,并练习用这些单词造句子。通过“Liaoyang is a beautiful city. 和There are many beautiful cities.”理解city 的单复数的不同。老师示范,学生造句。2听录音回答问题。老师播放录音要求学生认真听并回答问题。What places are they talking about?Where is the sports centre?Where is the square?学生认真听并回答。They are talking about the sports centre and the square.The sports centre is on Apple Street.The square is across from the

hotel.
