一、教学内容:

二、教学目标:

1、能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意,并能够根据正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话;

2. 能够在情景中恰当运用核心句型When is your birthday? My birthday is on April 4th.就生日日期展问答。

3.能够在情景中运用句型句型What will you do for your mum? I’ll cook noodles for her.表达自己能为家人或朋友做些什么,并学习、体会陈杰为妈妈煮生日面条、热情好客等行为品质。

4. 能够在情景中理解短语both of you的意思并能正解发音。

三、学情分析:

五年级学生已从具体形象思维向抽象逻辑思维过渡,集中注意能力有所发展,有意记忆在不断发展。在第三单元以及本单元A部分他们已经学习了月份的单词与一些节日的表达,已经能用When…? It’s in ….结构来对节日日期展开问答,而且在第三单元的学习中,他们也基本上能用What will you do for…? I’ll….来表达自己能为朋友或家人做什么。生日是学生熟知的话题,在三至五年级上册的学习中,也有接触这个话题,本课时的学习内容,贴近学生的生活实际,容易开展对话练习。

四、教学内容分析与教学整体设计思路:

1.教学内容分析:

本单元是第四单元,学习主题是中西方节日及个人的生日。本课时是第4课时,主要学习有关生日日期的问答,核心句型是When is your birthday? My birthday is on April 4th.以及学习如何在情景中运用句型What will you do for your mum? I’ll cook noodles for her.来表达自己能为家人或朋友做些什么。生日是学生熟悉及喜欢的话题,学习难度不大。

2.教学整体设计思路:

本设计以birthday为主线来贯穿整节课,大概流程为Teacher and teacher’s family’s birthday---Mike’s new cousin’s birthday---Mike and Chen Jie’s mum’s birthday---the others’ birthday---you and your mother’s birthday---your friend or family’s birthday.本设计采用了整

体到局部的呈现方式,以任务型教学为基本模式,以张凝老师的“skeleton”教学法为支撑,培养学生观察、分析、推理、解决问题的批判性思维能力,让学生逐步形成高阶思维能力。同时以陈杰为妈妈煮生日面条及热情好客的为伏笔,引导学生以此为学习的榜样,养成良好的行为品质。

Step1 Warm-up

1. Review

教师用PPT快速呈现与生日有关的图片与单词,让学生边看边说,并猜一猜今天的话题。

T:Hey, children! What are we going to talk about today? Now I’ll give you some tips, please say it out loudly when you see it. Then you can get it!

2. Free talk

衔接上一环节,教师呈现自己和孩子生日的图片,引导学生看一看、猜一猜,并引出both.

T: Yes! Today we are going to talk about birthday. Can you guess when my birthday is? Look! My birthday is on….This is my daughter Sunny, her birthday is on ….Both of us has a birthday in April. We’ll have a birthday party. I’ll make a cake for her. I’ll cook noodles for her, too.

(设计意图:通过游戏的形式,复习相关的旧知,为后面的学习作铺垫。同时,通过free talk的形式,让学生感知本课的重点句型,以及难点both.)

Step2 Presentation

1. Listen and tick.

教师呈现Let’s try的图片,让学生猜猜Mike and Chen Jie在谈论谁的生日?图片上的小宝宝的生日是什么时候?并用PPT呈现出书上的三个日期让学生猜一猜,随后播放录音检测答案。

T: Look! Mike and Chen Jie are talking about the birthday, too. Who are they talking about? Yes, this little baby is Mike’s new cousin. Can you guess when his birthday is? Let me give you some tips. Can you guess? Now let’s listen and check.

(设计意图:通过猜一猜、听一听的活动,让学生感知本课时的重点句型,并为文本的呈现作铺垫。)

2. View and predict

教师呈现课本插图,抹去上面的日期,引导学生猜猜Mike的生日。

T: Look at this picture. What are they talk about? Yes, they’re talking about Mike’s birthday. Can you guess: When is Mike’s birthday? (设计意图:通过抹去重点信息的图片,设置悬念,引导学生进行大担的猜想与预测,激发学生的求知欲和表达欲。)

3. Read and discuss

教师用PPT呈现挖去重点句的对话文本,让学生猜猜缺了哪些句子。请几个学生回答后,让他们小组讨论。

T: Now here’s the dialogue between Mike and Chen Jie. But some sentences are missing. What’s missing? Can you guess?

Chen: When is your birthday?

Mike: ______________________________________________________.

Chen: _____________________________________________, too.

Mike: Cool! What will you do for _________________?

Chen: ____________________________________________.

Mike: Chinese noodles are delicious!

Chen: Please come then. We can have a birthday party for _______________! T:You’re so great! But the others, do you agree? Are the answers right? Please discuss in groups of 4.

4. Listen and check.

(设计意图:利用骨架文本,通过掏空关键句型,引导学生关注句子之间的逻辑联系,发展学生观察、分析与推理等思维能力)

5. Try to write

教师让学生先尝试书写所缺的句子,而后再根据所提供的句子选择合适的句子更正或书写。

6. Watch and check

(设计意图:通过先让学生书写所缺的关键句,培养学生听的能力。然后给出带有两句干扰项的选项,引导学生关注句子之间的结构,培养学生分析上下文的逻辑的能力。这样的分层活动,既关注优生,又关注了学困生,体现面对全体的教学理念。)

7. Think and answer

1) When is Chen Jie's mum’s birthday? What will she do for her mom?

2) Will Mike’s mother cook noodles for him on his birthday? Why?

(设计意图:通过提问的方式,引导学生关注本课时所蕴含的人文与情感点:Chen Jie为妈妈煮生日面条、热情好客等行为,让学生了解中外文化的差异。) Step 3 Practice

1. Read aloud.

1) Try, listen and imitate.

教师呈现本课录音,让学生尝试朗读。而后,教师引导学生关注朗读时正确的语音、语调以及连读、停顿等,并播放录音,让学生听读。

2)Dub the cartoon.

3) Role play.

(设计意图:通过跟着标准的录音朗读对话,帮助学生们学习和掌握对话的正确读音,并加深对对话的理解。)

2. Role play

教师呈现课本上这一部分的图片,让学生以Pair-work的形式进行句点句型的巩固与练习。

T: Well, we know Mike’s birthday now. But what about Sarah, Oliver and John? When are their birthdays? Please look at the pictures and role-play with your partner.

(设计意图:通过同桌扮演对话,让学生多说,巩固和操练本课时的重点句型,为下一步的产出作充分语言储备。)

Step4 Production

1. Make a new talk.

教师给出对话框架与一些本关的短语等,让学生两人为一组仿照例子编对话。T: Just now we talk about the others’ birthdays. Then what about you? When is your birthday? Do you have know when your mother’s birthday? What will you do for her? Now please make a new dialogue with your partner. Here is the word bank, you can use them if you need it.)

A:Hi, B. When is your birthday?

B: My birthday is on_______________.

A: What will you do on your birthday?

B: I’ll_____________________________.

A: Cool! When is your mother’s birthday?

2. Make a new talk2

教师用PPT呈现一些节日与生日一起的图片,如Wu Yifan一家中秋节既吃月饼又吃蛋糕的情景,让学生与同桌进行对话。

T:Look at the pictures, children. What can you see? Can you make a dialogue with your partner?

(设计意图:通过提供节日与生日同一天的有趣情景,让学生运用本单元所学的知识,创造一个新对话,既回应复习了A部分的知识,又培养了学生的综合语言运用能力。)

3. Homework

You can choose one of them.

1) Make a birthday chart for your family and show.

2) Make a birthday chart for your family and talk about it with your friends.

引导学生在课后制作家庭的生日表,并告诉他们可以在家人生日的时候送上生日的祝福。

(设计意图:通过作业的延伸,让学生更深刻体会铭记父母及家人的生日也是一种爱的体现。)
