教材分析：

这是本模块的第一课时，以Lingling 和Amy去动物园讨论动物的样子来引出形容词，课的话题为

“These snakes are short”.

主要的学习内容为long,short,tall, big, snake, giraffe,elephant,eigers英文单词发音和理解。这节课结合动物的特征，将用英文描述物体的概念传授给一年级的小朋友。

学情分析：

有很多孩子对部分动物或许并不陌生，有些孩子在上小学之前就已经接触过。但对于形容词比较难以理解，和如何正确形容物体，并用英文思维对物品进行形容，对才接触到英语的一年级孩子也是一大挑战。

知识目标：

1. Ss can understand the words: snake,elephant, giraffe, tiger,long, short, tall,small,zoo. 2. Ss can say the words: snake,elephant, giraffe, tiger,long, short, tall,small,zoo.

T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine, thank you!How are you? T: I’m fine, Thanks.Please sit down. 2. Sing a song: Old Macdonald. T: First of all, let’s sing a song together! Ok? Ss: OK! 3. Revision and lead in.

TPR : Listen and guess. T: Ears Ss:Listen (play some voice of animals) Sound: Moo, moo T:What are they? Ss: They’re cows. Sound: oink, oink T: What are they?

Ss: They’re pigs. Sound: woof, woof T: What are they?

Ss: They’re dogs. Sound: Meow, meow T: What are they?

Ss: They’re cats. T: tweet-tweet, what are they? S1: They’re birds.

(give me five) S1: Woof woof, what are they ? S2: They are dogs.

Play frozen games. T:Now, look at the TV, what are they? Ss: They are a cat and a dog? T: Now, look at the cat, it’s very scared. Why? S: The dog is big, and cat is small. Teach small.

T: Look at another picture, look at the dog again, now it’s very scared. Why? Play the flash.

II. Presentation. (12 minutes) 1.

Now, who can answer, what are they? S: They’re snakes.快速教授单词snake，并把问答问题的小朋友的那组命为group snake。

以同样的方法教授单词giraffe, elephant, tiger

These elephants are very big. 以节奏强的音乐带着学生熟悉形容词

T: Now, open your books and turn to pages 32 fingers S: Point. T:Now, let’s try to read together. Group 1 and 2 is Lingling, Group3 and 4 is Amy Ss: Read in Role. 全班整体分角色朗读后，同桌两人分角色读书

Read in all and act it out. 同桌合作练习完后全班展示，同时请四个大组分别扮演snakes, elephants, giraffes and tigers, 声音出演。

III．Practice and Consolidation (6 minutes) 1.
