一、教学目标

1. 通过学习，能听懂、会说、会读单词：buy, put, look并会运用这几个四会单词描述圣诞节的有关活动与习俗。

2. 通过学习，能听懂、会说、会读句子： First/Next/Then/Finally...这一系列表示先后顺序的副词，并能自由地表达在不同时间段里，人们经常从事的圣诞活动。

3. 朗读并复述课文。

二、目标确定的依据

1．教材分析

教学内容：第一课时内容分析（Story time）

本单元的主要内容是学习西方国家的传统节日—圣诞节，以及人们在圣诞节期间从事的活动，如购买圣诞树和圣诞礼物，圣诞老人讲圣诞心愿，在床上放置圣诞袜和享用圣诞大餐等。本课根据时间的先后顺序，将本单元的重点句型First/Next/Then/Finally和表示动作的单词buy, put, look呈现出来，并要求学生在第一课时会听、说、读这些词汇与句型，以及在适当的情景中正确运用。

2. 学情分析

对于本节课的主题——圣诞，每位学生都有自己的圣诞印象。通过与孩子畅谈自己的圣诞印象，获取不一样的信息。班级里大多的学生能够保持认真的倾听同伴的发言，并及时给予评价的习惯，并且能够从老师的简短提示中自行获得答案，能从他人的话语中进行知识的梳理。班里的孩子对英语充满了兴趣和自信，都能以饱满的状态进入英语课的学习。
