3．policeman 可数名词，复数为：policemen。

We are the Smith family. 我们是史密斯一家。

family即是“家庭”，又是指“家庭成员”，指“家庭成员”时，本身就是复数形式，作主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。

the Smith family是固定搭配，即：the Smiths史密斯一家
