Lesson2 What colour are the trousers?

Teaching aims: 1.

Unable Ss to grasp the new words: shirt ,trousers, sock, shorts and shoe. 2.

Unable Ss to grasp the key sentences: -----What colour are…? ---They are…. 3.

Ss can make their own sentences. Teaching steps: Step1.Revision Show Ss the crayons and review the colours. Step 2.Lead to the new lesson Show Ss the clothes shop. Then show them different clothes. Such as: shirt, shorts and so on. Teach the new words. After this ,by using the pictures,lead to the sentences: This is a coat. They are coats.They are blue. Ask: What colour are the coats? They are blue. What colour are the trousers? They are yellow.Then show the topic on the blackboard. Step 3.Practise Show the pictures of clothes and the key words to the students, Sweater sweaters red socks orange Teacher gives Ss the example first,then let them work in pairs

and show their sentences.After this,show some other clothes,such as shirts,dresses,vests and skirts.Let them ask and answer in pairs. Step 4.Drills

Ss practise the sentences with their partners.They can use the sentences: What colour is your...? It’s ... What’s colour are your ...? They’re ... Step 5.Chant What colour are the coats? They’re blue. What colour are the sweaters? They’re red. What colour are the shorts? They are green. Step 6.Guess who Four girls or boys a group. The guesser try to remember the colors of their clothes. Guess the person according to some questions and answers. Step 7.Sing a song 《What colour?》

Sing the song first,then change the key words,let students sing again. Step 8 Homework Write the new words and sentences three times and remember them.Write down the colors of your clothes and make your dialogues.
