I. 教学内容分析及学习目标

本模块的话题是幻想小说，阅读课文选自著名幻想小说His Dark Materials。文章内容设置在高二年级的选修课本中，相对于普高学生而言，难度水平比较高，因此在学习本模块时，将重点放在了所涉及到的有关幻想话题的单词及词组上，力求学生掌握好本篇文章的新单词和词组，通过独立学习，合作以及竞争的方式培养学生的学习能力，激发学生对于奇幻文学的学习兴趣，尽可能多的了解文学知识，以期提高学生的英语阅读水平。

IV. 教学过程

Step 1 Lead in

：Show some pictures about fantasy literature and lead to the content of reading. Purpose: 引起学生学习幻想小说的兴趣

Step 2 Homework Show：show a Mind-Map using the key words and phrases of Module 2 Purpose:

课前让学生用联想记忆法和构词法画思维导图，使学生能体会到扩展词汇的策略

Step 3 “The Powerful Brain”

：Each one has to write down a word (conversion is better) on your paper，and remember others’ words & meanings within 4 minutes.

Purpose: 通过选择让其他同学来翻译句子的形式, 在巩固本模块词组记忆的同时增加学习的乐趣。
