第二课时

一、教学目标

1.语言知识目标：

（1）学会理解对话的大意及重点词语bored,wings （2）学会运用第三人称单数询问他人的意愿：What does he/she want to do?并做出回答：He/She wants to…学会运用第三人称单数询问他人的意见：Does he/she want to…?并作出回答：

Yes,he/she does. No,he/she doesn’t. 2. 语言技能目标: 能运用第三人称单数询问他人想干的事情，做出正确的回答，并能在情景中运用所学语言与人交流。

3. 情感目标

（1）通过各种形式的教学活动激发学生学习英语的兴趣，学会与他人交流与合作，并养成良好的学习习惯；

（2）学会尊重别人，做事情前先征求别人的意见。

4.学习策略：小组合作学习，积极与他人合作共同完成任务。

5.文化意识目标：知道中西方国家气候不同，台山不下雪。

二、教学重点，难点。

1.New words: bored, wings. 2. 指导学生如何理解单词、读懂和理解课文内容，进一步了解课文的脉络结构。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warm- up 1. Greetings and free talk.

T: Hello, boys and girls, today is a fine day, I want to play outside after school. What do you want to do?

S1/S2: I want to …

2.Play a game: 头脑风暴。PPT快速呈现一些图片，学生快速地说出相应的活动词组。

3.Practice 2.Ask ,answer, and write. (课本58页练习2) 以pair work 的形式完成，再一问一答展示。

T: What do you want to do? Ask and answer with your parner. （设计意图：通过游戏和问答练习既起到调动学生学习积极性，同时复习了上节课所学的新词和句型，为本节课将学习对话作好铺垫。）

Step 2

Lead-in & Presentation

1.

Look at the picture . PPT出示一些人物活动图片。T: Boys and girls.

Our friends will have a happy weekend. Look! What does he/she want to do? 引导学生答出: He/She wants to…

（教师板书句型，带读，学生观察第三人称单数的动词变化掌握规律。

）

再通过问答引出句型：Does he/she want to…?

Ss: He/She wants to…

（板书句型，带读）

(设计意图：通过图片问答引出第三人称单数询问他人意愿的句型。)

T: Boys and girls. Our friends all have weekend fun. What about Gogo and Jenny?

They are at home now. What do they want to do? Do you want to know? Ss:Yes. T: First, read the story by yourself, and then please tell me what’s the weather like in this story and what do they want to do? Ok?

Ss: Yes.

2.学生自读故事。.

3.Answer the question:

What’s the weather like ?

(S1: It’s cold . )

What do they want to do? (S2: They want to make a snowman.)

T: Yes, it’s a cold weekend . Jenny and Gogo want to make a snowman. (设计意图：先让学生带着问题自读故事，整体感知故事内容，理解故事大概意思。)

4.Watch the video and find out the new words.

5.教授新词：bored, wings.

T: Jenny has nothing to do .She’s very bored. “bored”

板书带读。And if you have nothing to do, and you can say “I’m bored.”

T:Does Gogo have wings? Ss: Yes, he does. “wings”

板书带读。What has the wings too? 让学生举例(如：bird,chick等）。

6.Listen to the story again and answer some questions.

T呈现问题：(1) What does Jenny want to make? (2) Does Gogo want to make his ears? (3) What does Gogo want to make?

(4) Is it a funny snowman?

7. 小组交流讨论问题答案。

8．跟读对话，注意模仿语音语调。

9．Read the story together. （设计意图：循序渐进，从找出新词释疑，提出问题小组讨论，再朗读，让学生进一步掌握对话。）

Step 3

Practice 1.

Read in role group. Then act out group by group.小组表演时让其中一个组员在黑板中画出snowman. （设计意图：通过分角色表演故事，培养学生的语言运用能力，激发学生的学习兴趣，给学生一个表演的舞台。）

2.

Retell the story.先小组交流再展示故事复述。

T提供短文让学生进行复述：

It’s a _______ weekend. Jenny and Gogo are at _______. Jenny is ________. So they want to ________________. Jenny wants to make his _________ and __________. Gogo _______ want to make his________. He wants to make his ________ and ________. Oh ! It’s so funny. （设计意图：通过对故事进行复述，培养学生的英语表达能力和对故事内容的概括能力。）

小结：Can we make a snowman in Taishan?

Ss: No, we can’t . 让学生知道台山不下雪。

Chant activities.

(1) Listen and chant. “Let’s see a movie.”

(2)Look , ask, and answer.. Pair work..问答操练句型：

Does he/she want to …? Yes, he/she does. No, he/ she doesn’t .

He/She wants to…

Step 4

Production

1.PPT呈现一副大图，图片内容分别画着很多不同人物在进行各种活动，分小组对图片进行编对话（注意运用第三人称单数询问）。

2.Show time. 小组展示对话。

3.Assessment 学生进行评价，选出对话展示最佳小组。

（设计意图：结合本节课的对话教学，在输出部分分小组对图片进行编对话，培养学生的小组合作能力和创新思维能力。）

Homework

1.扮演故事中的角色表演给家长看。

2.调查身边的亲朋好友周末想干什么，记录下来，下节课向同学们汇报。
