教学反思：

课文由著名的《歌剧魅影》改编而来。由于情节性较强，而且有一部分同学已经欣赏过此歌剧，所以教学效果比较好，同学的参与性较高。在课后的role play环节，几乎全部同学都全情投入，这也在无形中增强了他们对课文的进一步理解，也提升了他们学习英语的兴趣。

The phantom of the opera

is one of the most well-known operas in history. After learning, the students understand the whole story, and feel the charm behind the story. Students are also introduced to the famous songs in the opera, such as The phantom of the opera, the music of the night

etc. After class, they are required to role-play what happened in the story to further their understanding of the text. The students are excited at all the activities in this unit, which arouse their interest in learning English.
