Teaching Aims:

Students are to identify different non-predicate forms. 2.

Students are to understand the differences among green agriculture, blue agriculture and white agriculture and the advantages of white agriculture by paying special attention to the expressions: traditional farming, the introduction of modern technology, with white agriculture, are nourished by, research on, prove to be etc. 3.

Students are able to introduce the modern white agriculture in a dialogue according to the relevant information they have got in the article.

Teaching Aids: PPT software, guided plan, blackboard

Teaching procedures:

Lead-in Look at the pictures and give the names of the vegetables. How does the food come from the field to our table? Match the words with the pictures. Today we will learn an article on planting. Where are the plants grown? (Show students two pictures. One is a plant grown in soil, the other is one grown in water. Ask students to give the answer.) How can we make it. Let’s go and have a look.
