一、

教学内容分析

本模块的主题是“克隆”，Reading Practice部分是一篇夹叙夹议的说明文，内容涉及到对好莱坞电影《侏罗纪公园》中的情节在现实中不可能存在的原因说明。此文章生词量不多，理解起来不算难。文章按照非常清晰的逻辑顺序写作，以首先提出问题，然后逐个进行原因分析，最终得出结论这样模式行文。

二、学情分析

通过必修1--5的学习，高二学生已具备了相应的阅读能力(如预测、略读、细读和猜测词义等) ，对阅读理解的模式训练已经熟悉甚至可能感到枯燥，这对于备课和教学都提出了更高的要求。选修6每个模块的阅读篇章已经由以往的两篇增加到了四篇，对不同的阅读篇章，一般都考虑有所侧重地进行或精读或泛读。并且依据不同文章的特点，尽可能地设计出相应的多种多样的理解模式，既避免重复不变的套路，又带给学生学习的新鲜感。这篇文章阅读理解的难度并不大，且文章具有非常清晰的逻辑和结构，是学生学习口头和书面表述观点的好模板。

教学思路设计

本节课在引入中设置悬念，让学生猜测话题，激发学生的学习好奇心；通过创设语境和图片展示，让学生熟悉部分词汇；读前小段视频的观看激活学生已有知识信息；第一遍阅读中，采用整体阅读的策略了解文章大意；第二遍细节阅读中，训练学生概括归纳的能力和运用自己的语言转述文章细节内容的能力；回顾文章，从整体上把握文章的行文结构特点并找出让行文逻辑流畅的词汇，并引导学生在表述和写作中运用这样结构及词汇；读后让学生对相关克隆话题条理层次清晰地表述自己的观点。

教学目标

1. 语言知识和能力目标：

（1）读前通过语境和图片，理解和学习部分新词，为阅读扫清障碍。

（2）运用已有词汇和语法知识进行阅读理解，训练理解能力。

（3）

在读中获取信息并对信息进行整理归纳并用自己的语言进行简洁转述。

（4）阅读并能整理文章框架结构及敏锐地找出让行文逻辑流畅的连系词。

（5）运用已有知识及课内所输入的知识进行口头表述自己的观点。

2. 情感目标：

引导学生通过阅读，了解与克隆相关的一些信息，并学会分析和思考高科技的运用会给人类带来福利的同时也会有负面影响，增强科学伦理意识。

四、教学重难点

1. 学生对于文章部分细节内容进行概括归纳并用自己的语言简洁转述；

2. 训练学生提炼文章的篇章结构并联系平常自己的写作；

3. 引导学生逻辑条理清晰地谈论自己对相关克隆话题的看法。

五、教学策略和学习策略

教学策略：设置悬念，创设愉悦的学习氛围，激发学习动机；视频观看，激活已有知识；学生间合1

作交流完成任务，减轻学习困难，营造轻松氛围；适时的阅读策略引导和点拨，让学生收获领悟更多；运用已有知识，开展适当地运用和拓展活动。

学习策略：学生通过阅读，感知，思考，合作讨论，运用所学条理清晰地表达陈述观点。

Let the Ss watch a video clip and recall the information they have had about the movie—Jurassic Park. Step 2 Skim and answer questions.(Reading) 1. Read and understand the title of the passage. 2. Skim the passage and answer two questions. (1)According to the writer, is Jurassic Park scientific fact or Hollywood fiction?

(2)What part of the story does the writer think is impossible? Step 3 Scan and get more details.(Reading) 1. How are the dinosaurs created according to the movie? 2. Why is it impossible to clone dinosaurs according to the writer? (Work in groups to share answers with group members first and then before the whole class.) Step 4 Sort out the structure of the passage.(Reading) 1. Encourage the Ss to divide the passage into parts. 2. Guide the Ss to summarize the main idea of each part and draw a graph to show the structure. 3. Encourage the Ss to learn and follow the structure of the passage in their writing tasks. Step 5 Discover how the writer presents his opinions in a logical way.(Reading) 1.

Guide the Ss to pick out the words, phrases and even sentences that help develop the opinions in a clear and logical way. 2.

Recall more words of sequence and logical connectives. Step 6 Group work.(Post-reading) 1.

Encourage the Ss to talk about their opinion on Will Cloning be Widely Used in Our Future Life? in a clear and logical way. 2.

Let the Ss read a news report about a woman having her cat cloned to provide more information before working in groups. Step 7 Homework. 1. Write down opinions about cloning in a clear and logical way; 2. Sort out the language points from the passage by yourselves.
