I. Teaching aims:
A.Knowledge aims:
a.To learn the new words: face, mouth
b.To learn the dialogue of Lesson Fourteen
B. Ability aims:
a. Can read, spell, write the new words.
b. Can say the sentences and use these sentences.
Ⅱ. Main and difficult points:
A. How to use the sentence structure “How are you? Fine,thank you. He has a big face.”
B. To use the new words.
Ⅲ. Teaching aids:
a TV, a computer, some pictures and so on.
Ⅳ. Teaching procedure:
1.Organizing the class.
2.Greetings.
3. To have a revision work.“Look at my….”
4. New lesson.
(1)T: Are you happy now?
I’ll interduce my good friend to you.The panda. Let’s say “Hello”to the panda.
(2)To learn the new sentences.
(T: Let’s ask“How are you?”to the panda.)
“How are you? Fine, thank you.”
Practise each other.
(3)To learn the new words: mouth
Look at the panda’s mouth.Touch your mouth.
Read the new word in line.
(4) To learn the new words:face
Look at the panda’s face.(Read the new word in line.) Oh, it’s big.He has a big face.
Then practise it in pairs.
(5) Listen to the tape and read after it. .
(6) Read the dialogue in roles.
(7) Act out the dialogue in groups.
(8) Make a new dialogue according to Lesson 14.
5. Homework:
(1)Copy the new words of Lesson 14.
(2)Listen, read, recite and translate the dialogue . 6. Blackboard Design:
