本节课是四年级下册Unit7的第二课时，主题与学生生活息息相关，讨论空闲时间所做的事，并会运用表达建议的句子：Shall we…?。本课时学习内容包括复习活动短语，运用句型互相讨论自己空闲时间做些什么事情，并开展对课文的学习。

学情分析

本单元主题是关于询问空闲时间所做的事情，很贴近学生的实际生活，学生学起来较熟悉，比较感兴趣。由于学生在Unit6已经学过一些活动的表达，加上已经学过询问星期几做什么事情的知识内容，因此学起来不会太难。

教学重点及难点

教学重点：

句型What do you do when you have free time？-I ... when I have free time.的正确理解及运用，并学会如何用英语表达建议。

教学难点：对课文对话进行角色扮演。
