Unit 4. When is Easter ?第六课时教案教学目标:

1、能理解日记中描述小猫生长过程的句子。

2、能说出小猫生长变化的时间。

3、能正确使用be 动词、to have句型、can 句型来描述动物的变化。

4、通过观察,能简单描述小动物,以达到学以致用的目的。教学重难点

1、重点:能理解They still can’t see.Their eyes are open!They can walk/play with Robin!They are pink because they are very

young.They have white fur now.They make noise when they are hungry.等句子。

2、难点:能抓住对比句子来理解动物的生长过程。

教学过程

Step 1: Warm-up

1、翻唱When is your birthday? 教师将歌曲中的生日日期加以改动,然后让学生齐唱。

2、Let’s play一气呵成。12个人为一组,按1~12月份的顺序进行口语交流。

Step 2: Presentation

1、Read and write

(1)教师介绍Sarah’s diary.She has two new kittens.They are small cats.What colour are the kittens on April 15th?How old are the kittens on April 21st?When can they walk?When are their eyes open ?Let’s read the diary.

(2)学生阅读理解并回答问题。

请学生阅读日记,然后选择最佳答案。

(2)教师介绍the kittens.

在学生回答的基础上,教师做介绍。

The kittens are pink on April15th.

The kittens can’t see on April 15th.

The kittens have white fur on April 21st.

The kittens’eyes are open on April 26th.

The kittens can play with Robin on May 3rd.

教师边介绍边将对比句子呈现在黑板上。

(3)教师讲解语言难点,然后请学生逐句跟读。

(4)阅读后指导朗读。

(5)教师播放录音,学生听,再一次帮助学生理解日记。

2.Read and match.

请学生独立完成Read and match.部分的连线练习,同桌核对后,全班同学共核对。

3.教学Story time

(1) 教师播放Story time 的录像,请学生四人一组讨论“为什么Zoom一直拒绝别人的邀请?”引导学生理解“I want to pratice the song”的中文意思。

在阅读的基础上,请学生回答问题,并解释Zoom 要练习唱歌的原因。

(2)讲解短语“Don’t worry.”和“Practise makes perfect.”中文意思。

(3)教师播放Story time录音,学生跟读三遍。

活动:演一演,说一说

请学生戴上Zoom和Zip面具,分角色扮演。注意提醒学生模仿Zoom和Zip的声音及形态,看谁表演得逼真、语言模仿得到位。Step 4: Check
