(一)知识目标

三、教学重点:
1. 能理解文章内容,用正确的语音语调朗读短文,并初步复述。

Step 1. Warm up 1.
Greeting. 2.
Magic eyes: Say the words loudly. Ears, nose, mouth,foot,eyes, headache, body, doctor 3.
Say a rhyme: Doctor Wu Answer questions:

What’s wrong with Coco? Ss: She has a cold and a fever. (2)
What should she do? Ss: She should go and see Doctor Wu. 出示同义词组:see the doctor,引出seeing the doctor.(揭题,板书)
【设计意图】导入环节先采用Magic eyes的游戏方式,复习身体类词汇,同时活跃课堂氛围,调动学生的学习情绪。最后一个复习的单词是doctor,自然而言地引入小诗Doctor Wu,吟诵小诗后让学生思考两个问题,感知句型What’s wrong with...? What should ... do? ,通过学生的回答呈现see the doctor,自然揭题。
Step 2. Presentation 1.
Watch and choose——know what’s wrong with Su Hai and Mike.
T: Coco wants to see the doctor, so she goes to the hospital. She finds two friends in the hospital. Who are they? Ss: Su Hai and Mike. T: What’s wrong with them? Let’s watch the cartoon. (播放课文动画)
Answer: Su Hai has a _________. Mike has a __________. 【设计意图】以导入环节呈现的人物Coco为线索,引出医院的场景,让同学们发现医院中的Mike 和Su Hai,从而将本课课文中的人物呈现出来,以此过渡到课文内容的学习中。先让学生观看卡通,回答问题:What’s wrong with ...?既教授句型What’s wrong with...? 也让学生在观看动画的过程中初步感知了课文的内容,为之后的学习做好铺垫。

Learn about Su Hai. (1)
Read and underline T: We know that Su Hai has a headache. So what should she do? Ss: She should... 教授句型:
What should ... do? ... should ... Tip: should 和can 的用法相同,后加动词原形。
学生划出书中的对话并回答,教师依次教授新词组。

Take some medicine 呈现一颗药丸的图片,教授:medicine 呈现一些药品的图片,教授:some medicine 学生依据此思考:medicine是什么名词。

Drink some warm water. (2)
Think and say T: According to the dialogue of Su Hai and the doctor, let’s think and say: Su Hai should_____________. Ss think and say. (3)
Listen and imitate T: This time, let’s listen to the tape and imitate. Please pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. 【设计意图】本段课文结构较为清晰且有条理,学生比较容易理解。在处理新句型和新单词时,我采取了循序渐进的方式,先提问“What should Su Hai do? Su Hai should...”让学生感知句型结构,之后呈现句式:What should... do? ... should ...,让学生跟读,了解句型的构成方式,并指出should 与can的用法相同,以旧促新,让学生较容易地理解了should的用法。在学完了三个新词组后,我设计了think and write的环节,让学生说一说应该做什么,加深印象,巩固教学成果。

Learn about Mike (1)
Learn a new word: dentist T: We know that Mike has a toothache. He can’t eat anything.
Teach : anything (板书,学生跟读)
T: So he has to see the doctor too. Look, which doctor can help Mike? (呈现两张医生的图片)
T:Yes. This doctor can help Mike because he is a dentist.
Teach: dentist(板书,学生跟读)

Listen and find: Why does Mike have a toothache T: But, why does Mike have a toothache. Let’s listen. (播放录音)
Ss:Because he eats a lot of sweets. (板书:eat a lot of sweets,跟读)

Think and choose: What shouldn’t Mike do? T: We know that Mike has a toothache now. So what shouldn’t he do? Teach : shouldn’t = should not (板书)

Look and choose: What should Mike do? (呈现糖果、刷牙、冰激凌三张图片,学生判断应该做什么)

(呈现一些牙齿的图片)
T: Now, we can see some teeth. (跟读some teeth)
T: Look at this picture, we call it “brush one’s teeth” (板书)

Listen and imitate 【设计意图】通过课文第一段的学习,学生已经熟悉了就医的对话结构,在教授新词dentist, anything 时,我采用了词不离句教学法,在学生能理解的句型中呈现新词,使学生自然而然
地学习新词。考虑到五年级的学生已有一定的生活常识和经验,我让学生自己判断应该做什么不应该做什么,在充分调动学生的主观能动性的同时进行新内容的学习。
Step 3. Consolidation 1.

Role play. Do you remember that Coco is in the hospital too. What will happened. Please work in pairs, say and act. You can look at the sentences.

情感教育:
Boys and girls. In this class, we learn how to see the doctor. And I hope that every one can be healthy. If you are ill, you should see the doctors. In our daily lives, please have good habits, take good care of yourselves and care about others. 【设计意图】在巩固环节,教师设计了复述课文、简单写话和情感教育三环节,层层递进,进行巩固。首先,学生复述课文,复习描述看医生的语言词汇和句型;之后演一演Coco 和医生的对话,完成了知识的输出。最后自然而然地进行情感教育,升华主题。
作业设计:
1.
