一、教学内容

教学目标

1. 知识目标：

1）能听懂、会读、会说、会写词汇：buy, next, put, look, early. 2）

能听懂、会读、会说、会写句型与日常交际用语：First/Next/Then/Finally,…

3）

能听懂、会读、会说词汇：Christmas, present, Christmas tree, Father Christmas, pretty, thing, Christmas Eve, stocking, wait for, finally, Christmas Day, turkey, pudding, all, have a good time. 4）能灵活运用buy，put等动词及短语描述圣诞节的有关活动和习俗。

2. 技能目标：

1）培养学生的英语阅读能力，让学生了解学习英语小故事的步骤。

2）能用First/Next/Then/Finally,…一些列表示先后顺序的副词结构。

3. 情感目标：

1）培养学生学习英语的兴趣，提高学生阅读英语故事的兴趣。

2）让学生了解西方圣诞节相关习俗，培养学生跨文化交际能力。

A. Warming up Sing a song “We wish you a merry Christmas”

B. Pre-story 1. Know about Christmas When is Christmas Day?

(Learn: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day)

2. Find the things about Christmas.

(Learn: Christmas tree, Father Christmas, stocking)

C. While-story 1. Watch and order Watch the cartoon, put the pictures in order. 2.

Read and group Group the pictures according to the time.

课文环节，借助板书带领学生根据图片及关键词完成对课文内容的梳理。）

D. Post-story 1. Play a game Look at the pictures and say the activities. e.g.

3. Think and say Q: Which part impressed you most? Christmas is ... Before Christmas, people ... On Christmas Eve, children ... On Christmas Day, people ... （设计意图：本部分通过自由表达的形式引导学生就自己最喜欢的某一圣诞活动进行介绍，更加深了学生对圣诞节的喜爱，关注了学生的情感教育。）

4. Let’s plan Q: What do people usually do at Spring Festival? (They usually buy/make/eat/play/have...) What are you going to do this Spring Festival?

First, ... Next, ... Then, ... Finally, ... （设计意图：本部分由本课的主题“西方节日——圣诞节”迁移到“中国节日——春节”，引导学生为即将到来的春节做计划，既巩固了First/Next/Then/Finally的使用，也锻炼了学生用英语正确表达相关活动的能力。）
