Unit7 Chinese festivals （五年级英语下册）

【教材简解】

本单元围绕“中国的节日”这一话题展开教学活动，学生通过本节课学习，能了解中国一些传统节日的时间，习俗和特色美食，并能理解运用相关句式进行介绍和描述。

【目标预设】：

1.知识目标：

能听懂、会读、会说单词：the Spring Festival ，the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Double Ninth Festival. 能听懂、会读、会说不同节日的传统食物和活动。

能正确的理解并朗读课文，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

2.能力目标： 尝试用When’s ……？What do people do ……？What do people eat……来谈论中国节日。

联系生活，学生能用所学内容谈论节日，培养学生学会“用语言做事”的综合表达能力。 3.情感目标：

通过对中国传统节日的了解和讨论，让学生更深刻地感受中国传统文化习俗的意义，更深刻了解中国文化的博大精深，同时也能增进学生与家人之间的情感交流，培养家人、朋友之间的情感。

【教学重难点】

重点：能正确理解并朗读课文，在教师的帮助下尝试复述课文。

难点：联系生活，学生能用所学内容谈论节日，培养学生学会“用语言做事”的综合表达能力。

【设计理念】

本课设计以小学英语新课程标准中理念为依据，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生学会“用语言做事”的综合表达能力。依据学生心理特点，以乐导学并采用“任务型“教学法、情景教学法、小组讨论法等教学方法将知识目标、能力目标、情感目标整合到一个或多个具体的活动任务中，使学生在参与语言任务活动中习得英语知识，发展英语语言能力。

【设计思路】

在教学中，由游戏和竞赛导入，学生欣赏诗歌、看图猜测节日名称顺利进入篇章教学。接着通过完成Watch and tick、Scan and underline、Quick respond、Task-reading、Happy reading五个任务，让学生分别了解中国的四个传统的date、activity、food。最后设计情景开展Talk about your favorite festivals进

一步训练学生的语言综合表达能力。

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warming up

T: do you like games? So first, let’s have a climbing race:(PPT竞赛目标)

Step 2 Pre-reading Guessing topic ( 猜主题 ) T: Listen to a poem and some pictures, try to guess: What topic are they about? Listen to a Chinese poem(九月九日忆山东兄弟) Pictures about some traditional food. Some interesting pictures. Learn new words：（结合图文） the Double Ninth Festival(重阳节)，

dumplings（饺子），rice dumplings（粽子）， moon cakes（月饼）， rice cakes（米糕），a dragon boat race (端午节) Yeah，today’s topic is Chinese festivals. 【设计意图】通过交流拉近师生距离，并通过诗歌、图片自然过渡到本节课话题festival，在欣赏诗歌、图片的过程中有意识地输入本节课内容，为进一步阅读作准备。
