教学背景分析

指导思想与理论依据：

《义务教育英语课程标准》指出：现代外语教育注重语言学习的过程，强调语言学习的实践性，主张学生在语境中接触，体验和理解真实的语言，并在此基础上学习和运用语言。

依据课程标准倡导的理念，我在本课遵循创设语境的指导思想，采取循序渐进的语言实践活动，让学生在语境中做事情。发展学生的综合语言运用能力。

教学内容分析：

本课是人民教育出版社《英语》五年级下册第四单元第一课时。本单元的主题是Last weekend,第一课时是学习有关周末活动的词汇，是本单元的第一层次的学习。且此话题是学生在小学阶段对过去时态的第一次学习，因此学生几乎没有任何基础。通过本课的学习，将为后面进一步学习一般过去时的交际用语和与本话题相关的扩展知识学习奠定了基础。

本课由三个板块组成：A项活动的设计意图是通过对话整体呈现和感知本单元的新词汇，教师增加了通过四月份月历的图示让学生了解过去时和将来时，同时通过展示自己的周末活动让学生感知一般过去时中动词的变化。B项的说做活动是通过歌谣说唱的形式让学生进一步感知一般过去时的使用方法和重点功能句的应用和操练。 C项的活动是通过学生填写补充句型，进一步巩固所学词汇的英文表达，同时进一步操练本课的新词汇和动词的一般过去时时态变化。

学生情况分析：

1．认知基础：五年级学生虽然对一般过去时没有学习过，但学生在语言上有了一定的积累如：

“It’s…”, “What do you usually do…”, “I usually do…”等句型。此外，学生对“Week”和

“weekend”的话题并不陌生，他们几乎每天都接触这一类话题。

2．心理特点：五年级孩子的思维特点在形象、直观的基础上，有了更深层次的

延伸，抽象思维和创造性思维有了一定程度的发展。有意注意保持的时间有了一定的延长，注意力比较容易集中。他们活泼, 好动,爱说,爱唱,好奇心强，敢于张口，乐于模仿，表现力强，愿意参与有趣味的课堂活动。但部分学生自控力比较差。

教学目标（含重、难点）

教学目标: 1. 能听懂、会说本单元新词汇。

2. 能够使用询问某人上周末活动的功能句What did you do last weekend进行对话，操练本单元重点词汇。

3. 能根据语境从本单元重点词汇中选择恰当的词语填空。

教学重点

1、重点词汇的操练。

2、功能句What did you do last weekend?的练习及其答语。

教学难点

动词过去式的正确使用。

教学过程

Step 1. Warm up 1.

Go over day and date T: Good morning boys and girls, how are you today? Which month is it now? What day is today? What’s the date today?

Calendar of April T: Look at this calendar, it is for April, today is April 17 We call all the Saturdays and Sundays “weekend”, and April 14th and 15th

was “last weekend”, how do we call April 21st and 22nd? …..yes, “next weekend”. It is not coming, still in future.

Step 2. Lead in自由谈话------导入

T: Boys and girls, Look at these pictures, who are they? Teacher shows her own pictures with her boy, and explain to students what they did last weekend, then asks students what they did last weekend.

【设计意图】: 通过自由谈话引入话题。

Step 3. Get ready.

Listen and tick. T: Boys and girls, Look at these pictures, what are they doing? Let’s listen to the tape.

Teacher plays tape for 2 times and asks students try to get key information in the dialogue.

【设计意图】: 让学生听录音，练习在听材料过程中抓住关键信息，提取有用的信息。

Step 4. 呈现与学习新词汇

听音跟读单词

T: Look at these words. Let’s listen and repeat. (听2遍)

教师带读单词。Pay attention to the pronunciation of “ed”.

（2）

请学生轮流尝试大声读出新授词汇，纠正学生拼读过程中的错误发音。

【设计意图】:

让学生感知原音, 动词的过去式是本课新词汇的学习过程中应该着重关注的，尤其是要让学生明确动词的过去式的发音的不同。

Step 5. 功能句的学习与操练

功能句学习

T：

Who can tell me how to ask about activities people did last weekend? Teacher explains the questions and answers and asks students to pay attention to the past tense of verbs.

Teacher tries to explain how to describe people’s feeling towards activities last weekend. 2.

功能句操练

1)

T: Who would like to be my partner and come to front to show our class how to make a dialogue about asking people’s activities last weekend?

Teacher asks one student to front and try to practice. 2)

Group work (4 in a group, 3 minutes) T: Now 4 in a group and try to organize a dialogue according to activities last weekend, and please try to use the new words we are learning in this class. Teacher prepares some cards with new words and students try to use the card to practice the words and sentences.

Ask students to show in front of class. 【设计意图】：通过功能句的学习与操练让学生进一步练习本课新授词汇及重点句型，让学生在对话中理解动词过去式的应用情境及动词的过去式的准确应用。

Step 6. Chant and say Ask students to listen to chant and try to follow to chant.

Finish Part C Go over new words in Lesson 1 and try to chant according to Part B
