Making Contact 教学设计
一、教材分析
1.本课为人民数育出版社2014年10月第一版《新起点英语》五年级下册第三单元
Making Contact,是一节新课。
2.本课由三个板块构成: A. Listen and numnber本项教材提供了排序练习,呈现了六个目标词汇
B. Tick and walk本项通过过小组活动帮助学生操练词汇,并体会词汇在交际情景中的运用。
C. tink and write本项建立在A、B两项的基础之上使学生能够根据语
境选择怡当的词填空。
二、学情分析: 1.认知基础:学生已经学过“I want to…”这一功能句,六个词组中的个别单词,如:letter,write学生也已学过。
2心理基础:五年级学生正处于小学高年级阶段,学生对事情的分析有了自己独特的想法,这一时期的学生理解能力更强。教师通过创设具有一定情绪色彩的、以形象为主体的生动具体的场景,能的够引起学生一定的态度体验,从而帮助学生更好地理解教材,激发学生的情感。
三、教学目标(含重点、难点) 1. 能够听懂、会说send an email, write a letter, make a phone call, send a short message, mail a present和make a video call六个词组;
2. 能够运用已学功能句I want to „.表达自己想要在某个特殊日子怎
样和他人沟通。
3.能够针对不同的情境选择不同的通讯方式,体会不同通讯方式的特点。
四、教学重点:
能够听懂、会说本课的六个目标词组。
五、教学难点:
能够运用已学功能句表达自己在特殊日子想做什么以及使用何种联系方式。
六、技术准备:
1. 教师准备:英语教材、多媒体课件、教具;
2. 学生准备:英语教材、文具。
七、教学过程:
1. 热身导入:
1.1 Guessing game: ppt. 复习special days, 为后面对话做准备。
T: Let’s play a guessing game. Read and guess: What special day is it?
1.2Free talk: On new year’s day I went to Singapore and took some pictures there. I want to share and talk these with my sister. But my sister is in Canada. How can I tell her?Can you give me some advice?
Pair talk: Talk with your partner. You can act or tell me into Chinese. (send an email, write a letter, make a phone call, send a short message, mail a present, make a video call)Who can give me some advice?

2.呈现新的学习内容: 2. I Our friends are talking about contact with each other on new year's day too. Look! Who are they? What does Binbin want to do? What dose Joy want to do? Listen andthink 2播放A部分录音,感知新语言

学习习
mail a present T:Look! Where is it? What’s this? Through EMS or express, we can give a present to people in another city. That is mail a present.呈现三张图片及描述性词语帮助学生理解词义,为猜词游戏做铺垫;
学习write a letter:
Do you know what it is? It’s writing paper. And we write something with a pen on writing paper. What else can we write? Pair talk. Write a card.呈现两张图片及描述性词语帮助学生理解词义,为猜词游戏做铺垫;
学习send an email; send a short message:
Look! This is my email address. I want to „send an email. What do they do with their phone? Send short message. What else can we send? Pair talk. Send a picture.呈现图片及描述性词语帮助学生理解词义,复习字母e在单词中发/e/的音,为猜词游戏做铺垫;
学习make a video call; make a phone call:
What do they do? Make a video call. Look! Can you guess this phrase? It’s very similar with make a video call. Make a phone call. What else can we make? Pair talk. Make a card.呈现图片及描述性词语帮助学生理解词义,为猜词游戏做铺垫;
2.4读图游戏
T:Well. Look! Can you match the pictures with these phrases? Picture 1 is „
Talk with your partner. Who can tell us the answers?
2.5猜词游戏T: You‘re great! Let’s have a rest. Play a guessing game. I say. You tell me the phrase.
2.6根据情境选择联系方式(最后一个和birthday有关) 4. Everyone did a good job. Some children have some problems. Can you give themsome advice?
3.1练习书上的功能句
T: Wow! mary's aunt will be very happy on her birthday. If your birthday is coming。
What do you want to do? I want to to my friend.找两三个学生说一下。
3.2复习特殊节日并练习对话
Then look at Lily and Bill. They are talking about birthday too 出示对话。
Who can read this dialogue? t': There are many special days in a year and different ways to contact with each other. Can you make a dialogue like this? Find your friend. ask and answer Pair work. Show the dialogue There are so many ways to contact with each other. Which way is easy and fast? Do you know the other ways to contact? In modern times, we still have lots of ways to contact.
