Unit 3 Colors Lesson 21 Provider:Li Chenyu The 7th
Period Learning points:
1. Review this unit and check if students learned the words and sentences. 2. Have students communicate with the knowledge they have learned in this unit. Teaching Aids:
Some pictures, flash and cards. Learning Steps I. Warmer/Revision 1. Sing a song” Hello!”.
2. Greet to each other. 3. T introduces a new friend to Ss, then let Ss watch a video.
T: Are you happy?
Ss: Yes, we are.
T: Cherry is happy,too. Cherry has a new friend. Who is it?
Ss: One, two, three.
T: Look! It’s a chameleon. His name is Kami.
Ss: Hello! Kami.
T: What can Kami do? Let’s watch.
Ss watch the video and try to find the answer.
T: Kami can change colors. II. Presentation
1. T: What color can you see?
Let’s watch.
S1/S2/S3: I can see ...(T puts all the Kami with different colors on the blackboard randomly.)
T: How many colors?
Ss: 6 colors.
2. T: Can you put all the Kami in the right order?(Which is No.1/No.2...?)
Let’s watch second time, then answer.
After watching, let Ss put them in right order on the blackboard.
3. Listen and repeat.
Ss listen one sentence by sentence, then repeat.(whole class/ groups/ boys& girls/ row by row/ individual)

III. Practice
T: Look! Do you want the present? Let’s go!
1. Game 1: There are lots of pictures changing on the PPT, Ss say “Stop!” and speak out the color; then they can find the color in the classroom. T will ask one student to point to the color and say the key sentence.
2. Game 2: Memorize all the numbers’ color. Then T says the number, Ss say the color of this number.
IV. Consolidation 1. Find different colors and make a dialogue. T: Wow! You can get the present. Look! What’s in the present bag?
Ss: Some pieces of pictures!
T: Look! In this beautiful poster, some parts are missing. Now observe carefully, and finish the jigsaw.
Let Ss find different colors, then ask and answer.
S1: What color is it?
S2: It’s ______.
2. Let Ss enjoy colorful pictures and tell Ss to make the life colorful. V. Homework
1. Read the picture book-----Pete the cat.
Enjoy the song in this picture book! 2. Find more colors in your daily life. VI. Blackboard Design
