Unit 4 Activities Lesson 23
一、教材分析:
本课教学内容呈现了动词swim and hop、某人能做某事的功能句、指令语和歌曲的学习内容。二、学情分析:
根据低年级学生爱动爱玩,善于模仿的特点应设计充满童趣的活动内容,让学生在轻松的环境中学英语、说英语。
三、教学目标:
1、知识目标:
1)能运用问候语How are you? Fine, thank you.
2) 能听懂并会说单词swim hop fish frog water
3) 能询问并回答功能句Who can swim \ hop?
Fish can swim in the water.
Frogs can hop out of the water
2 能力目标:
1)能正确使用本课所学有关表示动作的单词
2)能听懂并回答询问某人会做某事的交际用语
3)能理解和初步运用介词in/out of表示地点
4)能通过听录音学会朗读单词课文及演唱本课歌曲
3、情感目标:
1)激发低年级学生英语学习兴趣并学会用英语进行简单问候
2)能在实际情境中灵活运用有关某人能做某事的交际用语
3)能够在小组合作学习中培养建立合作精神
四、教学难点:
1、理解短语in the water.、out of the water
2、理解单复数的区别:Fish--- fish、frog --frogs
3、长句Fish can swim in the water. Frogs can hop out of the water较难读,应启发学生按意思分开读。
五、教学准备:
单词卡片、兔子、猴子头饰、录音机、CAI
六、教学过程:
Step 1 Review
1、Greet to Ss with How are you? Then teach them to answer Fine, thank you.
师生相互问候,学生之间相互问候来练习此问候。
2、教师戴上鱼和青蛙的头饰引导学生和打招呼并问候。
3、Sing a song.
“Little rabbits can jump on the grass”
复习Who can jump ? Who can climb ?
Step 2 Introduction
1 唱完歌问学生我们在干吗,引导学生说sing
T: Yes, I can sing. Can you sing ?
S1:I can sing.
T: Good, Who else can sing?
Have more and more individuals to say this sentence.
2、Teacher mime the fish swim and say I can swim. Use the same way to teach them to say I can swim .Teach fish using a card or draw on the Bb.
3 、T: Who wants to be a fish? Who can swim?(教师一边给举手的学生带上鱼头饰一边数: one fish, two fish ,three fish…)
T:We are fish, fish. Ss repeat.
T: Fish can swim. Ss repeat.(教师和学生边说边做)
4、展示一些所学动物的复数图片问Can monkeys swim? Ss: No. Can tigers swim? Ss: No. Who can swim?引导学生说Fish can swim.
5 、Use the same way to teach Who can hop? Frogs can hop.
设计意图:用Review中的歌曲导出句型I can…,在I can hop / swim.活动中展示单复数,衔接自然,便于学生理解。
Step 3 Practice
1、Have some volunteers come to the front of the classroom.. Have some of them mime Fish ,the others mime frogs.
Fish 1:I can swim.
Fish t2:I can swim.
…
Frog: I can hop.
Frog: I can hop.
…
Teacher point to them and ask Who can swim\ hop? Ss: Fish / Frogs can swim / hop.
2、Divide Ss into two groups, one ask Who can…? one answer…can…
设计意图:强化句型,反复练习。
Step 4 Introduction
1、教师戴上复数的鱼头饰站在凳子上问Can fish swim on the grass? Ss: No.
教师站到地上问Can fish swim in the water?(指向水) Ss: Yes.
展示水图片Can fish swim in the water? Ss: Yes.
T: Fish can swim . Fish can swim in the water.请学生一边做一边说这两个句子。
2、用同样的方法教授Frogs can hop out of the water.
设计意图:教师做鱼游泳和青蛙跳让学生清楚swim in the water 及hop out of the water的含义。
Step 5 Listen and say
1、Play the tape. Have Ss point to the new words and sentences, just listen.
2、continue the tape. Have Ss listen and repeat.
3、Have Ss read by themselves. Ask some pairs read the dialogs, one ask, one answer.
设计意图:进一步纠正发音并练习句型。
Step 6 Consolidation
1、Ss do what the teacher says. (教师将鱼和青蛙头饰分别放在每小组前面,当教师说Fish , swim in the water时,面前放着鱼头饰的小组就做起来。)
2、教师展示一组图片,如read, draw, touch, sing dance jump climb…让学生四人一小组讨论Who can …?... can …
设计意图:通过以前所学动词让学生更好的理解某人能干某事的功能句。
1、Play the tape, Ss sing and act.
2、Have some volunteers come to the front and sing loudly, the others act.

教学反思
本节课主要让学生掌握动词swim以及hop。并且简单描述动物会做些什么。
利用卡通片的形式让学生初步感知。采用动作或者游戏的形式让学生逐渐学会表达。
