1.通过听、说、看、唱等方式认读有关圣诞节日的核心词汇"Father Christmas、Christmas tree、card、present"。

2.在情景的帮助下理解有关圣诞节的祝福语。

1.学生能根据自然拼读法听、说、认读节日核心词汇

2.能在适当的情景中利用功能句与他人进行交流互赠节日贺卡。

1.通过歌谣和活动提高学生对英语学习的兴趣。

2.通过初步了解节日相关词汇和核心功能句进一步了解英语背景文化，并在活动环节增进同学之间的感情。

教学过程

Warm-up 1.Greeting T and Ss greet to each other. Enjoy a video about Christmas. T:What's the song about? Ss:It's about Christmas. 2.Lead-in&Presentation Show a picture of a house and let the Ss guess who lives in this house. Look at the picture of part A and ask"who、what“

chant : T:Who is he?What can you hear? Then listen again,check and read. 3.New words practice Read the words following the tape,pay attention to the pronunciation of these words: Father Christmas、Christmas tree、present. Show them pictures of the presents、card、Christmas tree and ask Ss"what's this?" Listen to the dialogue of Part A. T:What are they talking about?What does Father Christmas say? Open their books,listen and repeat the key sentences. T:On Christmas,we say "Merry Christmas”to everyone. Work in pairs,practice the dialogue.

4.Consolidation Act and say. Listen to the dialogue of Part B(Without words) T:What are they doing?(listen and repeat) Role-playing:act out the dialogue. Make their new dialogue with the cards they have prepared. 5.Homework Say "Merry Christmas"to your parents.
