教学过程：

Step1 Warming-up 1.

Make phrases (出示动词，请学生组词) T：

First, let’s make phrases. When you see the word, try to make more phrases..

引出do housework Step2 Presentation 1.

T: I often help my parents do some housework. Do you often help your parents do housework? S: Yes. I do. I often help my parents./I sometimes…

T: So We can help our parents do housework, right? S: Yes. T: OK. Today we’ll learn Unit5 Helping our parents.(揭题)

Read : help our parents, helping our parents. Explain: parent: father or mother

Parents: father and mother 2.

T: When can we help our parents do housework?

T&S: Maybe after school or at weekends. What housework can we do for our parents?

Learn the phrases. (clean the car/table, make the bed, sweep the floor, wash clothes, wash the dishes) T: We can clean the car.

Show: clean—eat

We can clean the table. We can make the bed.

We can sweep the floor. Show: sweep—sweet We can wash clothes. Show: wash—watch We can wash the dishes. Show: dish—fish

3. T: OK. Now we can do so much housework.. Let’s read and do the action.

T&S: Clean, clean , clean the car, I’m cleaning the car.

Ss read and do the action

T: I’m cleaning the car. What are you doing?

S: I’m cleaning the car.

Use the same way: clean the table, make the bed, sweep the floor, wash clothes, wash the dishes.

Ss: (Guide) He is washing the dishes. T: Look at this picture. How to ask?

T: What is she doing? S: She is sweeping the floor. T: What is she doing? S: She is making the bed.( 让学生自己练习What is she doing ? She is doing …) T: What are they doing? S: They are cooking. 拓展：cook breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Look at the sentences : I am cleaning the table. He is washing the dishes. She is sweeping the floor.

They are cooking. Can you find some rules?

Tip: 主语+be动词(am ,is ,are) +动词-ing 是现在进行时的基本结构，表示“正在做某事”可用来表示现在进行时的时间

状语常用的有now, 或用look、listen表示提醒听者注意正在发生的事情. Practice: 1.现在他们正在打篮球。2. 听！

我的姐姐正在唱歌3. 看!她的妈妈正在做早饭。

7. Watch and judge

T: We can help our parents do many things. What about Mike ’s family ? Let’s watch the video ,then judge some sentences.
