Unit 3 My father is a writer. Lesson 15 一、教学目标及要求: 知识与技能目标:

1.能够初步理解单词:introduce, actress,future, factory.

2.能够听说读写并初步运用单词:a, an, actor, parents, worker 3.能够理解并运用以下句子询问他人父母职业:

What does your father do? He’s a worker/an actor. What does your mother do? She’s an actress. 4.能够理解并初步运用句子:

What do you want to be in the future? I want to be a worker /an actor / an actress. 过程与方法:

1. 通过课件及教师的引导,使学生能够在单词与相应事物之间建立联想。

2.通过情境,听力,歌谣,对话等活动使学生能够积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。

3.通过教师评价,师生互评活动使学生能够在课堂交流中,注意倾听,积极思考。

情感态度与价值观: 1、能够积极主动地参与课堂教学活动,提高与他人合作交流的意识和能力。

2、能够大胆地表达对父母的感激之情。

3、帮助学生树立正确的职业理想。

4、能体会到英语学习的乐趣,敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误。

五.单词教学中的兴趣性活动:歌谣、竞赛、猜谜活动,单词拼读规则。

六、教学步骤:

(一)热身复习(Warm- up\ Revision)

1.Let me introduce my father and guess: -- What’s his name? -- His name is Norman. -- What does Norman do? -- He’s a doctor. --What does your father do? --He’s a farmer/postman/teacher/.... -- What does Norman like? -- Norman likes noodles. 【设计意图】:通过猜一猜引出本课歌谣Norman is a doctor.Norman likes noodles,让学生感受字母n的发音,培养学生的语音;同时让2.Let me introduce my mother and guess: -- What’s her name? -- Her name is Nancy. -- What does Nancy do? -- She’s a doctor. -- What does your mother do?

2 学生初步理解单词introduce的意义,为新授做铺垫。

-- She’s a farmer/postman/teacher/.... -- What does Nancy like? -- Nancy likes nuts. Then let’s chant. 【设计意图】:通过单词doughnuts学习单词nuts,帮助学生辨别和识记字母n在英语单词中相应位置的读音,使学生能够在单词与相应事物之间建立联想。

(二) 新课呈现(Presentation)

1.Let me introduce my parents. This is my father. This is my mother. They’re my parents.( at -- pat -- parent -- parents) I love my parents.What about you? Say it with your emotion. 【设计意图】:通过图片理解单词parents,再利用单词拼读规则 帮助学生正确掌握单词的读音,培养学生自主学习新单词的能力。

2.T: Let me introduce my friend, Wei Min. Ss:What does your father do? Wei Min: He’s an ( act -- actor ) T: Wen Min loves his father. In the ( picture -- future ), he wants to be an actor. Do you want to be an actor in the future? Ss: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. 【设计意图】:设计情景,通过单词act学习actor,通过单词picture学习future,使学生能够在单词与单词之间建立联想。让学生初步理解future的意义及a, an的用法。

1.Choose a or an to fill in the blanks. Then let’s chant.

【设计意图】:通过选择题及歌谣巩固a, an 的用法及重点单词,句型。

T: I want to be an actress in the future. What do you want to be in the future? Ss: I want to be (a, an) _________. 【设计意图】:通过难点句型的操练让学生了解单词a,an在所有所学职业单词中的运用并培养学生的语音语调。

(五)Assessment Paste cards and stars for each group. 【设计意图】:通过小组竞赛, 粘贴星星和图片来评价学生,巩固所学知识,激发学习兴趣。
